Ricks Cafe

Just left Rick's and felt compelled to write a review for the first time. Food was ok, but over-priced. That wasn't the main issue, that came with the bill. They added on a bottle of wine to the bill (an honest mistake maybe) but having taken payment that's when the fun started. Didn't know how to refund on the card so said they would give us the cash back. They then gave us less than was due even when they had the amount they charged on the bill as well as the amount they should have charged. It's simple maths. Then proceeded to make a big issue out of it, making my fiance feel very uncomfortable, the last straw being the guy bringing over a chair to try and explain again. Perhaps try a simple apology, learn maths and try and leave the CUSTOMER feeling happy!

Better go to Antelope for a better all round dining experience.

The First Time in Tooting and there it was Ricks Cafe!!!!Fantastic what a nice place to be. Never had this attention as a client!!! Realy GOOD food, nice people! Hope to come again very soon!

Rick's is a great place for an impromptu dinner! The food is always great and offers a variety of dishes. Rick is often around to greet the guests, which I find is a great approach. The service is quick and since the place is quite small, your food arrives fast. It has a very warm and lively atmosphere, and full every night. Arrive early to avoid disappointment, or book. The specials represent excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

I went to Ricks Cafe with my partner last night to celebrate an anniversary, the staff were very helpful without being obtrusive, the chef cooked my steak exactly as I like it we had a lovely evening . We will be recommending it to everyone.
