Lombok

this place is round the corner from where my girlfriend lives, we've been a few times, its really good. Authentic Thai food (vegetarian dishes anyway), very good flavors. Not too expensive, good speedy service. It also have a good interior, cosy without being intimidating or stuffy. Good for romantic meals aswell as a casual meal out. Highly recommended.

I have lived in the area for years and have been a satisfied customer of Lombok every time I visit. So much so that my boyfriend and I often go there for birthdays, anniversaries and family visits. The staff is always friendly, food great, cost resonable and the atmosphere is very comfortable. I don't understand the negative comments and would recommend that those individuals give the restaurant another chance.

Lombok really is a hidden gem. The staff are lovely, food fresh and tastey, great value for money and it has a charming atmosphere. I have been there many times, and I have never been disappointed. I am suspicious about the bad reviews - I just can't see it. I suggest you go and find out for yourself.

A lovely place for a quiet meal. Having eaten there several times this year, the food is consistently tasty (Pad Thai!) and well presented. The staff are generally attentive and polite, leaving you to enjoy your meal in piece. A treat.

Only eaten in here once but thought it was very good. Menu is classic Indonesian style fare, but very well prepared (fresh ingredients, good quality meat) & executed. Feels like a quality place but with a nice neighbourly feel to it, a good balance. Service was very good on the whole. Sits opposite Number 22 and the two are the best restuarants IMO in either SE21 or SE22 as well as SE24 (although I have never tried Franklins on Lordship Lane). Plan to be returning on a consistent basis.

I don't understand the bad reviews. I have eaten here countless times. The food is always tasty and of high quality, and the service is very friendly. The only thing I could ask for is a bit of variation on the menu, with new dishes introduced every few months or so.

This place is a gem, but is seems like some people are able to be negative about anything and everything.

This place is great. The food is excellent and good value. Ignore the negative reviews, every dish we had was spot on. The Singapore Crab was out of this world!

As for the restaurant itself, the staff were very helpful and the dacore was tasteful.
