It amazes me that this place stays in business surrounded by such excellent competition. Avoid.

Contrary to the above reviews my experience at the Barracuda restaurant has always been a most enjoyable one. The ambience is tranquil and the staff are competent and charming. The food is delicious, portions are huge (try finishing the Singapore Laksa!) and such good value for money. They have the best wine list on Church St., I highly recommend the caminere (the sauvignon blanc is very good too!). Trust me I lived in Asia for 6 years, you won’t be disappointed.

My review sadly is like the previous one. This restaurant used to be a very good place to dine, but has recently changed hands and has become the most awful Chinese restaurant. The food is dire, the service is dire and I for one will never eat there again. The service was so shocking that, I suffer from very mild asthma so asked for a non-smoking table and was sat next to a table of 8 heavy smokers, when I asked to move from the cloud of smoke was sat next to 4 more smokers within 4 feet of me! Please, please give this place a very wide birth.

Horrible experience. Waited 3 hours for food and was still charged gratuity. Wrote two letters requesting part refund and have had no reply. AVOID. There are many better restaurants on Church Street. Don't waste your time or money.
