Come here for a busy lunch or a relaxing evening and La Rueda won't disappoint. The food is lovely, the service is very friendly and attentive. It's been such a nice place, both my friends and myself went to visit it twice in the same day (lunch and dinner).

It's perfect for bringing in friends and family but do keep a check on time, we usually spend 3 or 4 hours there without realising so don't come looking for a quick meal.

The only down side is the wine list, which is in need of a change as it is rather average. The ones I have tried so far seems far from a good match with the lovely food.

I have eaten there several times. Service is extremely friendly. It's the type of place where you can go and take as long as you want, which is great for a Saturday or Sunday lunch. Order a couple of tapas dishes, talk and drink, order a couple more dishes, talk and drink .....

The atmosphere is nice with all those wine bottles precariously lying above your head.

Prices are very good and there is quite a reasonable wine list, again at good prices.

We booked a large table last Saturday and were pleased at the layout of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the day was ruined, we were completely overcharged on our bill - be VERY careful of this!!

Despite wrtting to the restaurant & leaving messages for them to call back - they haven't - Total ripoff!!!

For 'real' Spanish cuisine and feel this is the place to eat. Menu is not too large but includes all the essential dishes. Drinks menu is very good and service is great and efficient. The night gets a little livlier around 11-12ish when the samba beats starts to roll. Highly recommended!!

The food was fantastic with a wide choice for vegetarians. I would not go back on a match day as the acoustics of the resturant made it incrediably noisy but I will certainly be returning on non match days.

I stopped by here for a tapas lunch on a Sunday and was very impressed. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are fairly large. The artichoke hearts were wonderfully fresh and tasty. The chorizo in red wine was possibly the best I have had and the calamari wasn’t bad either.

The service was a little slow but not enough to really be a bother. The only thing that wasn’t great was the wine selection. They could do with selling more by the glass. In the end I had a half bottle of a white Rioja, which was very good, but I would have liked more choice.

A good sized lunch for two people cost me about £25 with drinks. I think that was very reasonable indeed and I certainly will be going back.

I went here last Friday night for a colleagues leaving do - we had a selections of tapas and a few bottles of wine. It was great! A previous reviewer slated the vegetarian options but the way to go is Tapas! (Most of them veggie approved!)

Not bad. About ten of us, service a bit slow at first but improved and the staff were friendly and helped the atmosphere. I'd recommend it to friends as everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and the wine was good. Just one problem: I'm vegetarian and there apears to be only one veggie option (paella) as a main, and it wasn't the best I've tasted. I ordered spanish lentils (stating my dietary restrictions) and it came steeped in ham. It did however prove very popular with everyone else! A good night out but pretty rubbish if you're veggie (you'll find more option in an Argentine grill, so bring sandwiches!). That apart, worth a try.
