Bar Gansa

bar gansa used to be amazing. I don't know if they've changed management recently I went for diner with my girlfriend last night and a lot of the classic dishes have been changed and aren't as good. the service is no where near as good as it used to be and I feel the atmosphere has changed too. a real shame as this place was a real gem in the heart of Camden.

Food pretty good - a very decent mixture of tapas to choose from - the seafood dishes were very well cooked. The paella was also reasonable.

Apparently you can get a two-for-one deal on the tapas at lunchtime which would be superb value - at full price value for money is okay although the booze is a little pricey. I'm giving the place 7/10 for value for money because I paid full price - it would be 10/10 if I'd have gone at lunchtime.

When we went there was only one waitress - she was incredibly friendly and helpful - but one person is not enough in a joint of this size. Two of her and I would have given the place eleven out of ten for service.

It's definitely a place worth a second visit.

I love Bar gansa, great staff great food at sensible prices for the camden area.

the coffee here is fabulous.

monday nights are awesome live flamenco and a great atmosphere.

its worth a visit

I live locally and I love bar gansa!! offers such a tasty food and also a wide range of different herbal teas!!! ... so I would recommended to anybody that loves Spanish food, warm ambiance and delicious teas this winter!!!

So rare to find a nice tapas bar in London, let alone one that has the food AND the sangria spot on! The food here is incredible! most tapas restaurants i have been to have a few good dishes and a few poor dishes, but everything was perfect! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!
