i went to this place a week odd back. Food =Terrible. The worst Tapas I have endured in my life.
Service = The wine was corked. We complained, the nice lady gave us a second glass, it was corked too so we shut up after dodgy stares from the chef.
Atmosphere = It was empty in truth middle of the day.
Value for money = oh dear god! given the above if you can avoid, do! 30 pounds per head for pretty sub standard stuff.
Overall I honestly regret spending 3 hour of my life here. Can i have them back please?

Went to Jamon Jamon with workmates for a farewell. Atmosphere was good, very crowded even though it was only 7pm on a Friday night. Staff were not overly friendly and got a bit annoyed when we were not ready to order straight away. We ordered 2 tapas dishes each which seemed plenty along with sangria. The food arrived very quickly, not sure if it because the portions are obviously a lot smaller or whether they pre-cook their meals. either way they were all equally delicious, The garlic marinated mushrooms were especially nice as were the prawns. Not a huge menu though if you are not after seafood. Value was not too bad, although I must say it is alot dearer then the tapas bars in Spain. Would definately go back, if not only to try the paella.

My partner and I went to Jamon Jamon last night for the first time, we just stumbled upon it before going into the Jazz Cafe. There was a good relaxed buzz in the restaurant and I started to relax and thought I would enjoy my evening. We were shown to a table and waited a while before our drink order had been taken . We had finished our drink before anyone came up to take our food order, the waitress did apologise and seemed to be rushing about like mad, but the service was not good. When tthe food came up, we were both really hungry and started to tuck in. I have eaten in a few tapas places and one in particular near where I live in East London which I always thought was a tad too expensive. After last nights food I don't think I will moan again. The Potato Alioli was like a potato salad (a bad one), the Chicken rice dish was similar to packet rice the Prawns Pil Pil wasn't very good at all. The Chorizos in red wine had an overpowering flavour that wouldn't leave us. On a positive note the Spanish Omelette wasn't too bad, it could have been a bit hotter.
I noted one couple walking out after waiting so long for service. The waitress explained to us that it is because of shows going on in the Jazz Cafe that they are busy and it probably will be quiet later on. I would have thought they would have been used to that and cater for it. I don't normally complain as I realise that some restaurants have their off days. I personally would not recommend this restaurant.

Went To Jamon Jamon with my boyfriend last weekend (Sept 1st) and had a very nice meal - and I generally agree with the comments of Arin. The service was very prompt - so much so that we were in and out in about 45 mins (which was actually a bit of a shame). The atmosphere was relaxed, and they have a groovy retractable roof (towards the back) which was open - it was a nice evening, and this allowed us to feel suitably mediterranean!
Dishes could have done with being a little hotter (perhaps they prepare them in advance and keep them warm) - but all were tasty. I liked the meatballs in tomato sauce, while my partner particularly liked the omelette with tuna. Note that, as to be expected with tapas, the dishes come out as and when, rather than all at once.
If you want to make an evening out of it, then I'd say go later (when they're busier), or relax and have a drink, and take your time over ordering.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday 28th July 2007. My companions had been there before and love the place.
We generally liked the food. The service was prompt. Perhaps too prompt, which makes you wonder if the tapas are indeed microwaved.
The servers are all gorgeous Spanish women, which may well excuse their lack of attention (they seem very engrossed with themselves, drinking behind the bar and socializing). In their defence, the music playing is good contemporary Spanish electronica, which could explain why I spied one dancing a mock-flamenco.
No complaints about the food taste - try the chorizos in wine, and the meat tapas (not the seafood). Two tapas per person should be enough. The sangria was strong as well. All in all, not a bad experience. The service quality may vary as the itinerant Spanish 20-something serving crew is recycled.

I love this place when it openend but I can't believe how bad the service is now.
The manager told me to get out and don't come back because I told him we were not happy with the wait of 40 minutes for our food. I think the staff should all go on holiday to Spain and have people there who like their jobs and this country.

The prices of tapas in Spanish restaurants has been creeping up over recent years, to the point where one has to be quite discerning over which ones to visit. Jamon Jamon still rates as a good visit; the service is friendly (though perhaps too flippant), the portion sizes are reasonable, and the ambience is good regardless of the number of diners. However, the microwaved tapas dishes quickly lost their heat and, on this visit at least, were quite bland. Having worked so hard to establish a good reputation, Jamon Jamon is in danger of losing it through complacency.

I am so surprised about all the good reviews!!!maybe they're old, if not I cant understand it. I am spanish, and before you say, I found a few good spanish restaurants, so that I do think is possible to have a nice spanish meal outside spain. We went there for a group dinner on feb2007,and it took us 45 MINUTES TO GET A DRINK, the staff have a "clercks"(-like the movie)attitude on them, kinda I am to good for this, dont annoyme, etc.I took an hour 15 minutes to get a starter on the table. It wouldn't kill them to give us a couple of plates of olives in 20 min, but I guess that's too much to ask.
When the rest of dishes came, the nightmare really began, one of the salads came with the worst mozarella cheese ever, so bad Im afraid it was out of date, nobody in the table touched it! The rest of the dishes where terrible as well, too much oil and founded cheese to mask the lack of flavor.
OverAll experience: I would send the spanish armada to bomb the place ans stop giving spanish food and people a bad name.
