Saturday 22nd April 2006 - Our civil partnership was held at El Molino. 70 people arrived and the party had been in full swing for 15 minutes when a power cut knocked out the whole of Holloway Road - tube trains, shops, traffic lights -the works! El Molino's staff were wonderful beyond the call of duty. The chefs kept making hot food in a pitch black kitchen, the staff kept bringing the wine and all our guests were amazed at how great it was! Most of them want to go back for an evening out!

Who needs lights!

El Molino - you rose to the challange and were fantastic!

We've been here lots of times and have taken American guests to sample tapas. Every meal has been great. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The tapas are tastey, well cooked and served quickly. It's a great local restaurant and we like it so much that we're taking 70 guests for our civil partnership reception in April 2006.

This is one of my favourite London restaurants, it has a wonderfully informal family atmosphere and the food is always speedily delivered, it's always piping hot and made from the freshest ingredients. Great tapas,(the patates are to die for), superb paella, lovely wines and great Sangria, It really is a gem. I'm looking forward to my next visit already and It's the kind of place I really feel proud to bring friends to, as it's such a special find!

Been there 5 times now tried most their meals none of which was a disappointing experience! Service is excellent, a meal for two with a litre of Sangria, 6 tapas meals, bread and dessert £39. (and we had Gambas Prawns!) They lose one mark in food for their desserts not being varied enough.

Their Paella in also very good and have it the way you want it which is pretty cool!

Most reccommended and will go again & again
