Found ourselves in Teddington at lunchtime one Friday and chose this ordinary looking restuarant for its menu and prices. Despite it getting busy the place was quiet and pleasant and the service unrushed and attentive. The food was perfect, an excellent 3 course for two with drinks at £49, even with the supplement for Sole and rib-eye! Would recommend, especially for business lunches. Wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

We have been here many many times, and NEVER been disappointed. The cooking is excellent, the service attentive, and prices excellent value..especially the shortened menu before 7.30pm.

We were introduced to this restuarant by some good friends of ours who had been before and found it to be very good value for money.
We had a very enjoyable experience finding the service friendly , efficient and the food freshly served with the minimum of fuss.
I recall a large and noisy party close to us , but it was no trouble to move us to a quieter area , even though we had begun our starter.
The wine list was very reasonable and a not overly priced. all in all a good evening and we have just booked again taking some friends who are keen to try something new.

Dined at Noel last night and we both enjoyed our meals. Every course was freshly cooked with a good selection of inventive dishes, keenly priced. Spent under £60 including drinks which is a bargain for food of this quality. Great service throughout and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

We booked for mother's day. Three of us, one a two year old. In a restaurant plainly not booked out, we were stuck in a dimly lit back corner near an out of service toilet. We were stuck on a table for two. Apparently our son did not qualify for full person status despite the fact he needs a chair and a space on which to put his plate.
We asked to be moved because of the location and size of our table and recieved blank rudeness, frankly. Our request was completely refused. We could sit at another table for two about three feet away (I kid you not) or tough, sit where you are. We left.
Our treatment was a disgrace. Noel must be doing very well indeed to be happy to turn away customers in a recession. We will never go there again. We will recommend our friends never go there. If you want bad service and a restaurant not interested in keeping its customers happy, then Noel is the place for you.
But don't go there. Go to Retro a few doors up which is wonderful. We ended up in Loch Fyne a few minutes drive away who sorted their restuarant to find us a table even though they were very busy. That is service. That is bothering to be decent.
The manager at Noel this Sunday last should be ashamed of himself. I'm going to mark everything low as we didn't even get to the food. The atmosphere was like a morgue at 12.30 pm. Service diabolical and value for money, well, who cares?
Disgraceful.

First time for us, food was very tasty, authentic french cuisine with a touch of innovation. Service was well timed without being rushed. Under £60 for 3 courses for two people including glasses of wine and coffee - good value. Overall we thought a good experience We will return.

Food and service is excellent and restaurant atmosphere is "buzzy", with many Covers on a Friday night.........BUT don't sit any where near the door. BOTH the automatic closing dampers have been broken for ages (WHY??), and continuous cold drafts wreck the dining experience at these tables!

This is a wonderful restaurant - fantastic food, great value, friendly owner, inventive menu, keenly priced wines - we go at least once a month and have never been disappointed. It's good for couples and larger groups - the best place to eat in Teddington, Twickenham, Richmond and Kingston by miles.

The floor and the service made the atmosphere a bit grim, but if your after taste here is where to go if you dont mind waiting the extra minutes.

Since my first vist a year ago I've become somewhat addicted to this place and it is easily my favourite restaurant in greater London. The food is exceptional - the terrine with fois gras is a clear winner as is the asparagus with pancetta and mozarella. I've also never had bad service as per some of the other reviews and the owner personally greets each set of diners. My hot tip would be to take advantage of the early bird special: Tues - Thurs before 7.30pm, at £12.50 for 2 courses it is an absolute steal. But paying the £18 afterwards is still amazing value for money.
