On a road with many other fine restaurants (Bouchon Bordelais, Scoffers, Giraffe, Strada etc.) Dos Amigos stands out by offering good Mexican (not Spanish!) food in a fun atmosphere. The restuarant is double-fronted and deep and is well equipped to host parties at the back or smaller groups at the front.
Food is unsurprisingly typical Mexican fare, cooked and presented well. Service is mixed (we were asked for our order by three different waiters) and cocktails very good (definitely worth going just for drinks as well).
Finally, this place is not in Clapham, it's in Battersea (as the postcode and the name of the road it's on would suggest). The restaurant's card also states Clapham, which won't be too effective at charming the locals.
