Delightful atmosphere, attentive and friendly wait staff, delicious traditional greek dishes from starter to dessert and extremely reasonable bill at the end. What more can anyone ask? We'll be back!

Went to this restaurant with a group of 6, found the food incredibally tasty and fresh. I have know this restaurant for many years and would recommend this Vasis to any food lover. I had the fresh king prawns for starters and they were to die for. For my main I had a well cooked Fish ( Seabass ) with fresh veg and potatoes.

Both the Service and atmosphere was amazing. Very friendly and helpful and would suggest you try it your self before you believe me.

Hats off to Vasis for yet another great evening.

I cannot believe this restaurant has had bad reviews! We visited Vasis this bank holiday monday evening and had a very pleasant time. My girlfriend walks past every day and has been badgering me to go for some time now. We were hoping for shellfish but were a little disappointed to discover that it is only available on special order of at least 24 hours. No matter, this is understandable for a small taverna in London. We started with a pretty tasty dolmades and pretty average calamari. I'll try something more adventurous next time. For our main course we had spatchcock chargrilled poussin and slow cooked shank of lamb with rice and roast potatoes to accompany. Very tasty on both counts. Desert was a traditional greek sweet pastry with nuts and honey which my girlfriend loved but I found too sweet for my pallate. The meal ws accompanied with a fairly nondescript but perfectly drinkable couple of glasses of house red and white. The owner was our waiter and he was very pleasant and chatty throughout. Food arrived in good time but definitely wasn't rushed. Bill came to a reasonable £54. We wil most certainly return and next time pre-order the Cornish hen crab the owner made sound delicious.

I cannot believe the negative comments about this excellent restaurant. Four of us went there last Friday, on recommendation, we were greeted like old friends, the food was as good as it gets, the service was excellent and the bill was very reasonable. It is a very traditional, family run, Greek restaurant and I doubt you will find better.
