I've been a few times now and what i really love about The Stag, is the menu - there are some dishes there that you just don't find in other Indian restaurants, and that makes it a unique experience.

The quality of the ingrediants and the cooking itself is also first class. And the staff are always really polite and helpful.

All in all a hidden gem!

The food at the Stag is of excellent quality. We loved the King Prawn Jinga, one of the speciality on the Menu. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Since eating there, we have also ordered takeaways - the food is always delivered quickly and we would recommend you try.

We live in the area and although we were a bit skeptical at first, we absolutely loved the food and atmosphere when we went there for dinner. Service is very nice as well. The drawback is the location, but it's worth checking it out, especially if you are up for a romantic intimate dinner...

This restaurant used to be a pub for about a hundred years (hence the name stag). It has been beautifully refurbished and has a clean and fresh look and lots of character unlike many indian eateries.

I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to. I love indian cuisine and have eaten in every indian restaurant in the Battersea/Clapham area, and quite simply the food served at the Stag is the best by a mile. It just tastes so fresh and the flavours distinct and strong and the meat is so succulent. I have tried so many dishes there now from Chicken Tikka Masala to Jalftrezi's to the chefs special Prawn Jingha and they all taste so great that I don't really know where to start.

To me the quality of the food is the most important but I must add the service is impeccable.

Try it, I'm positive you will not be disappointed.
