I live in Crystal Palace area and I’ve eaten in Mediterranea a few times. It’s absolutely great. The food is simple and unpretentious Sardinian style. The chef has some experience in some Lebanese restaurant so some dishes have a Middle Eastern twist. The owner/manager Efisio will show you what we mean by hospitality in Sardinia. He’s genuinely friendly and will express his passion for food and wines at your table. Highly recommended. Trust me, I’m a Sardinian

We couldn't believe that this little gem existed in the middle of Crystal Palace. The more amazing thing is that the surrounding Westow St restaurants, and average portugese and a 1970's curry house seemed busier - have people gone mad??

The food was outstanding value for money and hugely authentic - I love the modern/traditional mix. In terms of quality it was like eating in italy - simple dishes made with quality ingredients. When you speak to the owner you start to get it, his passion for food and wine is immense and if you ask him for advice he will get you trying combinations you didn't think of.

We have been 4 or 5 times now and will continue going time after time - good food just doesn't come this cheap anywhere else.

The only comment and probably the reason why people come in the door as easily is the interior design - if they made it more rustic this place would be a real gold mine.

Just try it!

I was in London visiting my friend Efisio.

new Restaurant impressed me a lot: great menu for a good interpretation of tradition meet innovation. Sardinian couscous (fregula) with monkfish and scalops was my favourite better than back in Sardinia, swollowed with vermentino ("Funtanaliras") and Mirto to digest!

Another good reason to go to London.......

I'll certainly be back!
