Val-Taro

I took visit VT as often as I can, the wine is great (and very drinkable), and the food is lovely. From the outside you may be forgiven for walking straight past and heading off to one of those 'chain' bars and restaurants in leicester square - but DO NOT pass this little gem by. There is always a place to sit down and while away an evening, in very rleaxed surroundings.

I love VT. I've been going for years and am never disappointed.

My friend and I always sit downstairs where the waiters never hover and there's never any rush to order - not like some "conveyor belt" restaurants I've visited in London. Many's the time that Luciano has had to remind us that the kitchen's about to close so would we like to order any food? The food is great, huge portions and the wine is reasonably priced but very quaffable - cheap but not nasty!

I've recommended VT to all my friends and make a point of visiting as often as I can.

Check it out and if you're disappointed I'll eat my hat!
