Bar Lumiere

I also visited Bar Lumiere and was impressed with the food, not often you see the chef of a kitchen spending time with his clientel. Good selection on the food menu and a great selections of wines. This venue has done well pairing these elements and has opened in Balham to offer a great choice.

The atmosphere become a party during the weekend but the weekdays offer a more relaxed pace. I ate the slow smoked duck followed by the beef fillet and finally home-made tiramisu with Bailey's.

If cost is a concern then you'll be pleasantly surprised that 4 of us ate with 2 bottles of wine for £66.50 choosing from their tasting menu. Which we thought was an absolute bargin. Go soon before you have to start waiting to book.

We ate at Bar LUMIERE recently and it was superb. The food was fabulous, well presented and most importantly , absolutely test full. The service needed a bit of more attention but it was ok. Although Bar Lumiere can be seen as bar it has a good selection of food and mostly important you can stay for an after dinner for a good music night out. We had a wonderful evening.

I can't wait to go back with my friends.
