Mudra

I agree with Karen. This place is great. The Keralan food is just like you get in Kerala, and the same goes for their more generally South Indian dishes...you won't find a better Chicken 65 in Bangalore. Everything tastes fresh and nothing tastes the same. Don't miss their wonderful fried lamb dish, with pepper and clove and some other spices (I forget the exact name). It's good for fish, too, and as you would expect with South Indian food, vegetarians won't go hungry or disappointed. Service is friendly. I worry, though, that sometimes when I visit the place could do with some more customers. The upside, of course, is you don't have to book. But in these uncertain times, restaurants like Mudra need to be supported, so go there!

This place is so good, you have to go. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The food is something special, and offers something for everyone from vegans to meat eaters. We go regularly and also get takeaway when we are too lazy to walk there and we have never had a disappointing meal.

Mudra in Leytonstone is a real gem! Good atmosphere and roomy interior. The food is truly delicious and the service faultless. They serve a mix of authentic south and north Indian dishes, freshly made. Try a dosa or or the Goan fish curry with mango and ginger or chicken curry with pea, mint and coriander and of course one of the best parathas you will ever taste. Fantastic value as well. Highly recommended.

I have eaten at Mudra on several occassions - the food is special - it is carefully prepared; fresh and tastes very good.

went here over festive period , was quiet , but cant understand why

the staff were very helpful , and food was spot on!! well made and very tasty . only small glitch was the chutneys , but in general will def go back here again .
