Went there for Dim sum, but had to opt for dinner, because they will not serve you Dim sum after 4 PM.
We had crispy fried noodles with roast duck with was good (6 pounds, 7/10 points), and very delicious and fresh beancurd (tofu) stuffed with prawn (7 pounds, 8/10 points) yummy and recommended dish), rice and tea: paid total 22 pounds (excl. tip, no details on receipt) for two of us. Restaurant was more spacious than the average box like venues. Service could have been more friendly!

In China Town London Jade Garden is one of my best restaurant. The Dim Sim is very tasty and value for money. Dinner has plenty of choice and also very good and I visited with friends and family very often. The waiters and waitress are very friend and chreeful.

Use to love their food.. but having had a mouthfull..(sadly not of the food..but) from the waiters there... i doubt id be going back.
Have to admit the food there is quite authentic and nice, slightly more expensive compared to the other dim sum restraunts in china town.. food is worth the money though..
..but service is awful!!

Nice dim sum. However the service is practically non-existent yet they charge almost 20% for service. The atmosphere is satisfactory. The value for money is poor, the price of the dishes is expensive in comparison to some of the other restaurants.

Kind of a disappointment. We had the set menu Peking dinner for two. Nothing exciting, despite a pretty interesting description of the dishes. The chicken dish had dark meat and was dull, the crispy duck was dry and overcooked and the crispy beef was unidentifiable. The prawn dish was awash in a sweet/sour sauce that was better left off the dish. So the highlight really was the "special rice". We're not likely to run back there anytime soon.

Good Dim Sum. The staff are not very friendly to start with, but after going there a few times, and if you bother to speak to them, they would be very nice to you.

Don't know what happened in Jan / Feb 05, but I went there recently and it was great. Authentic dim sum, very speedy service, tea constantly refilled - couldn't have been better. Although they did want us to pay up and leave at the end, because there was an enormous queue out of the door, it was done politely.
