Da Mario

I went here on Saturday night with 5 of my family and friends. I have to say I think this is the best Italian food I have ever had in London! and also so affordable! There were six of us and we had three bottles of wine, a bottle of water, two cokes, six starters, six main meals and six desserts and it came to £200 including a tip!

I also thought the service was excellent - in fact I cannot fault this restaurant on anything. Thanks for a wonderful night!

I had a great pasta here. It was reasonably priced and although the staff were a little slow and unattentive the food had the quality not quantity feel to it. Worth the stop by for the authentic Italian feel.

Having previously read good reviews of Da Mario, I brought a friend here recently when she was visiting London. Truthfully, the experience was so disappointing as to be embarassing.

The food wasn't terrible, but it was completely mediocre. The service wasn't terrible, just a little perfunctory. Given all the great places to eat in London I can only assume Da Mario's survives on tourists looking for an unremarkable meal at a moderate price, but would advise against it for anyone with higher expectations.
