Just received a delivery of sushi and some egg prawn noodles. Sushi is good, but absolutely disappointed with the noodle dish! Tiny little box arrived, with four average sized prawns- looking very battered indeed. After having paid £9 for this sad little affair I felt quite angry. Especially since we had waited over 90 mins for them to deliver it! To make matters worse, when I called Sushi54 to complain- they merely stated that it was so expensive because prawns are so costly . Not even a meagre apology. Won't ever order from them again!!

I have been going here for just over a year now.

I disagree with the other reviews here. The atmosphere may not match some of the more pricey restaurants I've been to in London, but I go here more for the quality of the food. And the price might be high, but what you get is quality. They clearly use high quality ingredients as it always tastes superb. The fish is real fresh and the presentation is beautiful.

When you think about it you'll probably spend a fiver on some tiny nasty sushi set from Pret a manger or the likes which has been prepped somewhere miles away about 5 days before! The portions here are much larger and as said before the quality is top. You get what you pay for.

I have had to wait for deliveries before, but this is probably because they are busy with lots of orders. another sign that it is clearly popular with it's client base.

somethings to try should you want to go there are the tuna tempura roll. The soft shell crab temaki. the nigiris- particularly love their avocado nigiris. Sea bass tempura is real nice too. and the Somen salad with crab is delicious!

Keep up the good work Sushi 54, from a happy customer :o)

This lovely little place further down the Lower Richmond Road appeared very inviting from the outside.

However, the food was just OK...nothing amazing and really expensive.

The service was bordering on both rude and servers that simply didn't care about their paying customers...no smiles....no thank you...please come again...

Shame as a good sushi restaurant in this part of Putney is needed...

Perhaps they'll improve their standards....or just rely upon their home delivery(which was really busy...)

Afraid to say the managers consistently appalling customer service over the period I've been a customer lets this place down to the point where I will not return.
