Very friendly service and one of my favourite burrito places in London (really like chipotle too). I'm vegetarian so guacamole is a must - really nice and fresh, goes well with my cilantro rice and loads of black beans, salad and fresh salsa. Yummy! Prices are ok as well.

Living around Islington gives you an opportunity to visit many lovely restaurants and pubs. I came across Tortilla a couple of days ago and was fascinated by their simplicity and good taste. Simply, you approach a counter, order your meal (burritos, fajitas, tacos) watch it being done and rolled in front of you and then sit down (loacl not too spacious though) or take-away. Everything looked fresh and pork is something worth trying. Vegetarians will find something for themselves as well. Prices around £5.

Tortilla gives you a healthy option in London's fast food industry. Burritos, fajitas and tacos can be a great lunchtime treat or a meal with your friends after work. Different beers are available and you can try their frozen margarita as well. My favourite is steak burrito with salsa verde and guacamole. Price around £5 for a medium size one.

Had a pleasure of visiting this restaurant last week. There's very little space to sit only few wooden tables. But if you want to enjoy a quick tasty meal with your friends and drink some beer (they've got lots of mexican choices) then you found a place.

Although I'm not the greatest fan of Mexican cuisine I must say I enjoyed my burrito almost as much as my own ragù alla bolognese ;) The meat was delicate, if a bit too wet for my taste, the rice just the way I prefer, the sauce was delicate, although I'd add a little more heat.. ;) nothing to complain about, good place to eat and chat a bit with your mates, personally one of my fav.

Had a vegetarian taco there - I give the hot salsa 5 stars. The price was extremely reasonable 4.60 for two soft tacos and the portion big accordingly. Great place for a lunch - very quick serving, food is warm and tasty. IT's a pity they don't do delivery. Overall a good find in London with friendly service.

Not recommended for vegetarians.

While your meat-eating companions get served huge portions of meat, the measly scraping of the edge of a spoon of guacamole, which is the main component of the veggie option, leaves a lot to be desired. Like previous veggie reviewers, I've been left hungry on many occasions when opting for the veggie option.

That said, the food itself is tasty-including the guac! It's just a shame that veggies always have to ask the server for more peppers/more guac.

I complained about this to the manager, who was truly lovely about it, and promised to look into it and change the policy. However a month on, and further email exchanges later, and the guac portion for veggies is still the same...highly disappointing.

I really really really liked the burrito they served me there. I must say it was the first burrito i had eaten in my life, but i definitely enjoyed it. I think the place is great value for money, for a fiver you get a portion ( medium, but still) that is huge...i got really full... the atmosphere in the place itself was okay...nothing special...but the serving area was clean and that's what matters to me.

Nice food and nice customer service - next time i'll go for just a medium burrito - the large one is really huge. I liked the fact that you prepare food in fron of customer's eyes - wrapping up looks really impressive. And the price is fine too - for 6 pounds i was absolutely full plus i got botomless drink.
