I've been trying to review this place for ages - I'm glad someone has finally entered it for me!
Beirut has lovely food, decent prices and nice staff. It is just round the corner from me and is a consistently reliable choice. It's quite new, so more often empty than it should be - don't let that put you off! The food is really nice. Go and enjoy!

We ate a Saturday lunch here & it was absolutely delicious!
The lamb filled pasty was the best I have ever had, the marinated eggplant wasn't to my taste but very authentic. The dry beef was quicte tasty & nice for a change. A must-try for mains is the buckwheat pie type dish, which has minced lamb inside. A little oily but very delicious. The sliced lamb fillets on rice was exactly as described, the kebab plates were very nicely cooked & tasted better than your usual "kebaby". The complimnetary baklava at the end was a lovely touch. We were very full when we left!!
Highly reccommend this restaurant.
