I had a surf and turf a couple of days ago. You can tell the food isn't amazing, but tiger prawns are tiger prawns eh?! And the menu looks all the better with their 'famous' linguine.

Should be called "The B***h at Fulham". Everything 's wrong...the food, the service. The only thing that was correct was the rest of the customers who were complaining as much a me. Probably, that's why it was empty on a Saturday night.

The service is fine but the food is so awful - I could not eat any of my main meal last night because it was VILE. I ordered pork belly with egg noddles and asian greens. What I got was a small pile of buttered (??!) overcooked noodles, savoy cabbage with bacon (this was supposed to be ASIAN GREENS??!) and a huge slab of slimy pork belly covered in a disgusting overly reduced (or packet?) thick hoy sin sauce. My boyfriend's steak was tiny, had no flavour and his fat chips were raw inside. And it was so expensive! I'm pretty sure this place will close down which is a great shame...why can't we have a great local restaurant? The menu sounded good enough (in theory).

This place is empty every evening and I can only assume they do not have the demand or budget to buy in fresh ingredients for their large menu each day. The only business they seem to do is at weekends for brunch (because there is nowhere else to go for families on this part of Fulham Road).

Don't be fooled by the cute interior.

Absolutely the worst excuse for brunch ever. Anyone who thinks this is a proper brunch place is insane. The eggs benedict has hollandaise that ressembled sludge and tasted even worse.

Does have lovely large tea pots and large cups which is nice but had to beg the waitresses even for some milk with my tea.

My friend ordered a bellini and they served her a champagne mixed with peach schnopps - absolutely terrible.

Unedible food for two for £50 is surely something to be missed.

I have just read the review below and think it very unfair, i have been going to the Beach each weekend since i discovered it just before Christmas and its very busy on the weekend but i have had good friendly service on each visit , which is why i keep going back.

It is the only venue in the area that does a good Brunch, its a nice place to be , its fair pricing and people seem to be enjoying it..

If you are looking for fast food go to MacDonalds, the food i am told is cooked to order.

I've been here twice now and vow never to return.

I'm a local, and live just off Munster Road, so we were dying to try this out as we're in dire need of a good brunch place. However, each time, the service has let us down completely. I don't usually bother with reviewing places, but this was simply embarrassing each time.

First time they took about 20 mins to finally get all our drinks, just a couple of bloody M's and waters. We complained after 40 mins with no food. Waitress totally stressed and never once came by to check on us. After over 1 hr food hadn't arrived, but other tables had. After 1 1/4 hour we're told the computer system broke so they lost our order etc etc, and it arrived 20 mins later... not enough waitresses for the size of the place and barmen having a laugh and not making drinks quickly enough. 2nd bloody mary's we cancelled after waiting 15 mins and just went without..!

Second visit, 15 mins for our coffee and bloody Mary, given wrong coffee, then 10 mins later, given wrong coffee again. then given correct coffee twice!

ordered 2 burgers, one arrived with no cheese, so sent back, the other a few mins later, but it was a Veggie burger. Waitress was again totally stressed and confused. I finished my burger by time other one arrived. Water we'd ordered twice never arrrived. People around us were complaining etc.

I know it was a Saturday lunch and it was full but frankly they have lost our business and our friends business which is all local. Am I the only one to have had nightmare experiences, averaging over 2 hours each time??

The beach looks good and it makes a change to go to an original children friendly restaurant. However the service was impossibly slow and the waitresses looked stressed. The added problem was lack of high chairs, only 4 in the restaurant and about 10 children needing them. When my sons pasta arrived i knew he was hungry but he got terribly unset when i tried to feed him, being 18 months old he couldn't tell me they had got his order wrong and given him the very spicy adult sauce on his pasta, a bad mistake because he then screamed the place down. They did change it when i realized the mistake but a more heart felt apology would have helped!

This place has the potenial to be very nice and the food was delicious but please sort out the service.

As a father of 2 young girls its always hard to pick a restaurant that looks after a parents need for a restaurant with good food and children friendly.

Beach at Fulham certainly fulfilled both criteria, without doubt it has to be the best brunch in South West London. Classics such as Eggs Benedict for grown ups, Organic Chicken Nuggets for the children. Newspapers, Colouring in and childrens books add to the experience.

The staff were English speaking and very helpful.

Well Done the Beach at Fulham

"in terms of value for money, i don't think you can beat it in Fulham, a set lunch for a tenner.

I have one of their loyalty cards and have always found the staff helpful - even offering newspapers and books for the kids"
