fantastic, genuine Vietnamese food, probably the best I've had in London (I'm half Vietnamese, so I like to think I know something about it). I was overjoyed to find this place, especially since they serve my favourite & very hard to come by dish, banh cuon.

good food, been a few times now and always have the same dishes, the red snapper with mango sauce is excellent. will be more adventurous next time and give something else a go. staff are friendly and the owner is such a gem!

We have lived in Croydon for many years and seen the expolosion of restaurants in the area some good some bad.
Well I have to say that An Nam is probably one of the best if not the best one in the area.Great place especially if you have kids , you feel at ease in this place.
The Location is superb , large , clean and wonderful service . The food is always fresh and aromatic with decent size portions. The set menus offer excellent choice and value and gives you a glimpse of the variety and quality of the dishes
As highlighted this is Vietnamese not Chinese. It really is a differnt cusiine compared to Chinese , even though the 2 are so close geographically , the food is very different for the better in my opinion.
Give it a try you will not be disappointed !

This is a VIETNAMESE Restaurant NOT Chinese!
Have been going here for a few months and have always had great noodles and soup noodles especially their Pho and Bun Bo Hue as well as indulging in some starters now and again. Their Vietnamese spring rolls are excellent.
These dishes are reasonably priced but some of their a la carte dishes seem a bit pricey compared to other Vietnamese Restaurants.
Great, clean and nicely decorated restaurant with friendly staff too!
Free parking too which helps as we travel by car from Balham.
