Went twice there last week and like it every time. Great selection of tapas, all of which are very well prepared.

Been here about 5 times and keep going back. Love the atmosphere, the tapas and the service and I must say, they have the best olives I've ever tasted!
There is usually a special grilled fish brochette with choice of fish that comes with paella. Huge portion. Easily could share among 2 people.
The Sangria is great and unique too!
Could maybe be a bit more generous with the 'wine by the glass' pours. Looks very loney in the huge goblet and I just have to keep asking for refills... I'd rather have a choice of small or large from the start. 125ml doesn't do it for me anymore. Then again, I am a lush :)

I visited this restaurant over the weekend and I could not find a fault it was great the lovely food the lovely restaurant all complemented each other, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
I read the last review someone has put on here and was completely shocked about there opinion of this establishment. As for it being like a roudy bar in spain full of Brits I could see no sign of this. It was fantastic and worth every penny.

I've never had Tapas before. In fact, I was probably scared about having Tapas, I don't like trying new things. But if you haven't had it before, I'd highly recommend going to Meson Los Barriles. The food was absolutely amazing, I cannot fault it in anyway whatsoever.
The jovial and friendly staff are a fitting backdrop to a restaurant which sits between Spanish authenicity, and English charm. Tapas is a brilliant medium for trying new things, and I can truely say that having tried most of the dishes in the place, you can not go wrong.
There is plenty of choice for vegetarians, with my girlfriend enjoying it very much indeed. I personally suggest the stuffed mushrooms with pork, and for vegetarians, the stuffed aubergine.
Blinding. I can't say anything else.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday night and could not see any of the negatives that I have just read in the below review. I found the food very nice and resonably priced for the location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was great, the food was wonderful and the house wine very very nice. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Not a place I’d recommend or ever return to. The dark interior, with quirky wooden furniture and a long bar gives this place a certain air of Spanish authenticity. The numerous TV screens, tuned in to the football, ensure that it is the authenticity of a bar in a Brits-filled resort. The menu features two tightly typed pages of tapas, as well as some daily specials from a blackboard. The food was edible enough, with some lovely stuffed mushrooms in a cheesy sauce compensating for the burnt chorizo with not enough flavour and the dodgy vegetable sauce in the clams dish. The service wasn’t overly friendly, but the company was very congenial and it would have taken a lot to spoil our evening. Like being charged £95 for a bottle of wine, when we had ordered one for £35. When we ordered they brought us two to choose from, and we, naively, chose the other one and did not ask how much it cost. When questioned, the manager could not show us the £95 bottle on the menu but insisted that the price was right. He gave no coherent explanation for offering us something costing three times more than what we had ordered, saying lamely that he thought we were out on business (we very clearly weren’t), raising his voice and getting very agitated. Eventually, we reluctantly paid up (I was over ruled), but continued to question him further until he literally pushed us out the door. His loss though – we live near by and he has lost more in future business than he gained on the wine. And we managed to salvage the evening with a trip to the ever-lovely Vinoteca.

Came to this restaurant a year ago, it was fantastic then and is still fantastic now. The food is without doubt some the best Spanish cuisine in london. The staff are all helpful and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. can't wait to return.

This is the best tapas restaurant that I have been to outside Spain. The service is perfect, atmosphere is great and the food, oh the food is to die for.
Everyone I have brought here comes back again and again.
Highly recommended.
