Ma Cuisine Le Petit Bistrot

This was the second time we ate at Ma Cuisine; a local restaurant for us. Can't say we were very impressed by the first round, but this time bordered on the offensive. We decided just to go in for dessert. I tried ordering a Sauternes; the waitress had never heard of it. We were instead offered two very over priced and very poor quality glasses of Muscadet. We then ordered two pear tarte tatin. Both were very burnt, like charcoal burnt. We each finished about half before we decided that was enough. Regrettably, the only response we got was 'you should have said something earlier. Maybe then we could have done something for you'. Hmmm...as if the lumps of charcoal were somehow our fault. 22 pounds, two terrible desserts, and two substandard glasses of wine later...we left vowing never to return.
