The Little Star is a little gem! What a great place. Completely disagree with the negative comments on here. This place has a lovely atmosphere (Mediterranean feel). The prices are fantastic. If you go on a weekday evening they do a starter and main for a very reasonable price - £7 I think! And although this is a price hike from the £5.50 charged in previous times, I defy anyone to find somewhere so central, with lovely staff and good food, for such a small price. As for most mains being over £10, I found when I went in there very recently, that there was only one or two things OVER £10! So please, don't let any of the negative reviews put you off. Go and try it for yourself and hopefully it'll become a regular haunt for you like it is for me and my family.

They must have got their act together. Went last night - good food and service. Starter, main course and pudding all excellent. Bill was £80m for five people - food and drinks. Great value.

This place has clearly hit hard times. I've been here several times before and had lovely food at a great price. Tonight was the first time I've been for several months - they've redone the menu, put up the prices (significantly) and the food was rubbish.

I've always wondered why, in the past, they were able to make such tastey food and charge so little for it. The answer is they can't! There is hardly a main course now under £10 now. You may think you're lucky to find anything under £10 in London but Little Star used to do it. Now they can't and the magic has gone.

Sorry but I won't be going back.

i went for sunday lunch this week and was very disappointed. I had the tuna steak which was overcooked and dry, it was drenched in olive oil which made it very sicklly and was also covered with a mush of capers.

My husband had the sunday roast beef - which was better in taste but the beef was completely overcooked and looked like it just come out of a very bad carvery.

The only saving grace was the soup which was fine and the service was fine too. I was disappointed as one the one previous occassion I have been here for lunch I remember it to be quite good. Such a shame but unless they sort out the menu I won't be going back there.

Went to Little Star for a farewell party... we all had an amazing time, the food was great, prices cheap, and the service was fantastic...

The staff were happy to take photos for us, and were very attentive. They offered the right wine to match our food, and as more people rocked up to the farewell party, they happily pulled out more chairs and accomodated all our requests.

The food was delicious.......... and the prices are great!

Will definitely be going back........ Thanks Little Star for helping us send our friend back to Australia in style!

A fantastic little place very close to Willesden Green station. Came here with my parents after reading reviews on this site. It really did not let me down! Great food, amazing value and cosy atmosphere. Some nights, you can get two courses for £5.50 which is jaw dropping value! I have been back again with my girlfriend and again the food was great. I am looking to take some work colleagues next...

You really will not be disappointed if you choose to come here.

My wife and I have been eating at Little Star for many years now. We always use the restaurant for birthday celebrations, wedding anniversaries etc and can honestly say we have never been disappointed.

The food is excellent, amazing prices and the service is marvellous. All the staff are very friendly and there is always a delightful atmosphere.

I am currently in the process of organising my wife's 40th birthday at the restaurant and the staff have been so helpful.

I would not hesitate to recommend Little Star to anybody, it is one of the best restaurants in London.

I have been visiting the Little Star for years now. It is undoubtedly the best local restaurant I have ever been too! Every dish is delicious and we have tried them all and it is great value for money!

I eat in a lot of top London restaurants entertaining clients but I feel that the Little Star serves as good food as any of them.

the service is great, and it has a lovely atmosphere and I have never been disappointed with any meal I have had there.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

I visit the Littlle Star on a regular basis and I have to agree with previous comments that the menus has become a little boring as it never changes. I'm a vegetarain so am limited in what I can eat. So agree, please change the menu.

Having said all that, my husband is a meat eater and enjoys the meat dishes. The LS is is very near to my home and I very happy to have it on my door step - good food, reasonably priced with friendly staff - what more can you ask from in a local restaurant?
