Service diabolical. Food ok if you have a VERY strong stomach (I didn't on 2 separate occasions at this place, although I don't usually have such problems). To top it all, while I was inconvenenced (ahem - 20 minutes), the waitress didnt even bother to give us our change from the bill. We didn't bother to complain as we just wanted to get out. Dont be deceived by the trendy setting. You have been warned!

Me and my friend visited south woodford prezzos yesterday, and i will not be in a hurry to dine there again. The food was pretty average and value for money was reasonable. However, the service was extremely poor. It was 3pm and we had to wait around 50minutes for our main meal. I did adventually ask the waitress how much longer do we have to wait for our meal, only to be told there was a party of 9 downstairs, therefore please excuse the delay! If it had been busy i would of been more forgiving. Apart from the wait, the dining experience could of been so much more enjoyable if we had of been made to feel welcomed in the first place. Furthermore, if members of the staff just simply SMILED, this may of encouraged me to leave a tip!

A group of 8 of us attended - we had a great night, not unfortunately owing to Prezzo itself but the fun time we had chatting, and we certainly had time to chat given how poor the service was - it is a shame that the only time a waitress came to the table was because she had to be called and wasn't up on waitressing skills enough to attend and check on diners. One starter was sent back (crabcakes) as they were burnt and one main went back for the same reason and it was pretty suprising to get the replacement in 1 minute, it made the diner feel like they were trying to get away with burnt offerings in the first place. Comments from my party were all about the service being bad and rudeness, I usually go to the Woodford branch and would advise a big increase in standards before I'd even think about visiting this one again!

Awful restaurant - we visited on a sunday afternoon with our young child. Eventually (after asking the third member of staff who passed us) we were given a table, however, that was it. We waited and waited and waited for menus or drinks or anything really, and were totally ignored for 20 minutes, by which time we had had enough and got up and left. They werent even busy.

A good restaurant with excellent staff and first class food, shame about the manageress she is unfriendly and unwelcoming so will look for somewhere else to eat that wants our business.

Reasonable food, nothing fantastic though but it was the bad service that we will remember. Having arrived to hear a fellow diner shouting how "******* terrible the service was" you can't help but be a bit nervous.
The staff forgot plates, starters and drinks, got orders wrong, had to be reminded about orders and when 1 of our group asked what a dish was the reply was "I don't know", warm beers (they ran out of space in the fridge on a Saturday night) no smiles and no initiative shown. Great. Another example of cheap labour by 'struggling to understand english staff'. Are we faced with a future of pointing to our choices on the menu because no one understands each other in this country anymore?
