Dhonia Indian Cuisine

yes, it's true there's dishes that I never heard of as well and it really is exciting trying something new and it's definitely great value for money!!

I normally order take away from dhonia about 3 times a week and sometimes go and eat there in the weekends.

The staff there are really friendly!! Their always suggesting dishes for me to try- I went on saturday and I was confused on what starter to have, one of the staff suggested I try the traditional Maas Biran-which was delicious- definitely going to have it again!

I had Tandoori Garlic King Prawn since prawns are my fav!-it was medium hot which suited me best and what can i say about the actual dish except that it was deliciousssss!

Every Tuesdays dhonia does a Gourmet Night in which I went and experienced a fantastic night with my friends which is £10.95 per head for that night you get to choose anything from the menu:Starter,MainCourse,Sidedish, with Pilau Rice Or nan and you pay extra £2.50 on king prawn dishes and tandoori mix grill.

The portions are very good.Service is super because the waiter's are very friendly and efficient,the food is amazing-certainly different from the other restaurants I've

been to around Islington.

The service was great from the beginning till the end. It’s very rare these days to find a restaurant where the members of staff are pleasant all the time. The food is always excellent there, and I have even talked to the head chef who's had over 20 years of experience cooking Indian food.

I know, I’ve been going there for years, and it hasn't even left a dent in my packet, GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY AND VERY WELL PRICES :D.

This place does make the best curry's and tandoori's around; it's true what everyone else says, it's not all hype, but fact. The range of flavors and spices found in each dish is also amazing, there are some I've never heard of so there's an air of excitement to try something new. It was well worth the trip to Finsbury Park. Even If you have to travel far, go for it.

Really nice local restaurant with great food. Staff are always very friendly too. Was quiet to begin with, but seems to have built up more business, and does a good takeaway.
