This all you can eat filipino buffet is fantastic. The food is different but of a type that keeps well on a buffet, such as unctuous pork trotters, plenty of dishes with chilli highs, a star dish of entrails in black pudding sauce was hot and darkly offaly, but there were also plenty of less extreme dishes, such as the roast pork which had excellent crackling and a curry sauce on the side, whilst to finish the crème caramel type desserts are a pleasant way to round off a top meal. Service was friendly, most diners were filipino, the karaoke was hilarious and good fun and the filipino san miguel delicious. Good food, good fun, but not for a quiet night out or for the unadventurous.

Visited this place with the wife-to-be on a saturday. It's Fillipino owned & run. The owners are very friendly & inviting. The place really has a nice warmth about it...it seems very much like a home away from home for many of the patrons. My only gripe is that we live too far away to make it often! I think it would make a really nice venue to hold a celebration...they serve alcohol, have a sound system and a karaoke machine for vociferous individuals. Finally the food...a wonderful buffet with a multitude of dishes to suit all tastes. One taste and you know it's all home cooked & delicious. I can't think of another restaurant that offers better value for money. We're already looking foward to a return visit!

I have just come back from having a really lovely meal at Kusinang Munti, it's not just the delicious food that will make me go back there but it's the kindness and warmth of Ofelia & Ven. I moved to Tooting last year, I did hear that there's a Filipino restaurant somewhere in Tooting but never got round to finding it, so yesterday I Googled it and found where it is. I thought I better check it out first before I take friends/families there, I have been to a couple of Filipino cafe/restaurant in Earls Court but left very disappointed. Well, I was very impressed with Kusinang Munti, the buffet was very good, plenty of choices, meat dishes, fish, loads of vegetable dishes too and for such small price, I just do not know how Ven and Ofelia can make a profit from what the charge. I will be going back there with my friends and also with my daughter and her partner next week. So now whenever I fancy Filipino food I certainly know where to go now and will tell everyone I know about this great place. I think this will worry my family now in the Philippines because whenever I fancy the real Filipino food I go and have a holiday in the Philippines, my sister is such a good cook, so now Kusinang Munti will save me a fortune and it's not such along way to go too.

This is an all you can eat buffet, so don't expect gastronomic heights, but this food doesn't suffer from being held in a bain mairie. As the only filipino restaurant in london it offers a really worthwhile change, cheap cuts as you'd expect for the incredibly low price- trotter, chitterling, oxtail and boney beef, alongside chicken and pork, but allslow cooked and tender, there are lots of sweet and sour flavours, plenty of chilli highs. Really worth a try. Good filipino san miguel as well!
Beware the kareoke is the only proviso.

I am a regular customer of Kusinang Munti. Twice a week, my friends and I would go there just to have fun. Of course, we always come back for their great food and not to forget the karaoke. If you want to break-free from stress, then this is the best place to be. It is just about few minutes from Tooting Broadway.
So if you want to experience yummy Oriental food (buffet style) and great Karaoke music, then see for yourself. I will be an unforgettable experience.

Kisinang Munti is indeed a great addition to the already diverse southeast asian restaurants in the the south london area...a few minutes away from tooting broadway station and serviced by buses 280, 270, 77 and 44 makes its location ideal and easy to find...not only is the restaurant popular to the budget conscious londoners it serves authentic Filipino cuisine in an eat-all-you-can buffet from £6.50 per person...the restaurant is clean and airconditioned and spacious enough for a party of 50-60 guests...there are multi-media facilities for parties and of course kareoke for a truly pinoy experience...i would definitely recommend Kusinang Munti...im proud to say im a regular but there's only one way to find out if the reviews are true...COME YOURSELF and experience the taste & hospitality of the Philippines.

Many thanks to Kusinang Munti for the most enjoyable birthday celebration held on 7th April with my 30 guests. Everybody I have spoken to since has expressed compliments about the service and the quality of food most especially. I will certainly have no hesitation in recommending your restaurant. Since my first visit at Kusinang Munti, I've been impressed by the ambience of the place and the quality of the food "Tunay na lutong Pilipino". I invited my friends of different cultures (Filipinos, English, Welsh, Italians, Indians,Turkish and Mauritius) and they're all enjoyed the atmosphere. While the owners of the restaurant are very please and accommodating, we took advantage of the situation by singing karaoke, drinking and eating buffet and we stayed there for nearly 4 hours. All of my friends were very impressed. Definitely we will come back again.
Good food, Great accommodating staff and Brilliant atmosphere....
THIS RESTAURANT IS SECOND TO NONE.

Just had a party for my 1 year old daughter for about 45 people (the restaurant holds about 52).
We found the owners very difficult and greedy from the beginning, paid the deposit 2 weeks before and at the last minute (20 minutes before) they told us we can use their TV for a slideshow only if the other guests didn't need it !!??
Anyway, we tried to forget about it and were trying to enjoy the party, until we found out that the owners booked another birthday next to us without letting us know!! I will let you imagine our guests faces and ours once we heard them singing happy birthday!
The other few tables were filled with very very low profile guests, a woman about 50 years old was dancing for a guy while a 10 year old girl was singing karaoke!! With all the kids present it was a show that shocked everyone to say the least. That's when our guests started to leave in disgust, our party was totally spoiled.
Our daughter is usually very well behaved and calm, but there she was crying all the time because of the noise, confusion, crowding and warmth (no air conditioning, only a fan working).
Food was lacking, when I went to the buffet there was never any rice available and all the filipino dishes are eaten with rice!! Service was poor, waiters not pleasant at all and found them very unprofessional. The only good thing was the kid at the bar, he was very helpful and accomodating.
Neither us or our friends will ever go anywhere near it. The location is not convenient, it's 15 minutes walk from the station and our friends found it difficult to get to it. Talking to some friends we found out that when they booked they had the same problems, I wish I asked before... Worst money I've ever spent on a restaurant. AVOID!!
