A great venue for a romantic dinner. I can't say that it is the quiet and classy kind but the atmosphere is more of casual and relaxing. I enjoyed my time here, and also the food. I have to say that the carbonara is just too awesome! Highly recommended!

I have lived in London for five years as well as having lived in Paris and Tokyo. I can say, without fail, that this was the worst dining experience that I have EVER had. We arrived and it took 20 minutes even to take our drinks order. The table next to us were complaining about that they had waited ages and their main course hadn't turned up.

By the time our drinks arrived, another table, who had turned up after us, had already had their drinks and their main courses. Another table who had turned up after us, had eaten their starters, main course and had coffee before our starter plates had even been cleared. A couple sat next to us 50 minutes after we had been sat there, their starters arrived and their plates were cleared. Our dirty starter plates were left on the table and there was STILL no main course. We had to complain about the plates. We had to ask where our food was. Then, the couple who had arrived 50 minutes after us received their main courses. We were still waiting.

We wanted dessert and liqueur after the meal. It wasn't worth it. I asked for the bill. Our food, when it arrived, was lovely but took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get to the table. I had to get my own cutlery. I told the manager that I wasn't paying the service charge. Was there any apology - was there hell.

This is the only time that I have felt the need to complain. This is the only need that I have felt the need to follow-up a complaint. This is the only time that I will be spending my free time going on every review site of London to tell restaurant goers that the service is the worst in London.

I have visited this restaurant so many times ive lost count,I always look forward to going there, and I have never been dissapointed. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the wine list is extensive, and the quality of wines always good.the food is changeable, sometimes good sometimes wonderful, but never bad,and the Tisamisu is a deam !

The atmosphere is wonderful, especially when the reataurant is full, its casual and chatty, many shoppers at lunch time,Italian families with children,a little noisy and fun, just like Italy. In the evening, its quieter and romantic with candles on the tables,

Whenever I am in London I always make a point to eat here,in fact its my main reason to go to London.I always come away feeling I really enjoyed it.

I have taken many guests there, and everyone has loved it.

I would recomend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food.

I've read other good reviews for this restaurant - but was disappointed with my experience there. The first thing to go wrong was the drinks order - and then the food arrived... One meal was fine - but the other was tough and inedible. None of the waiting staff seemed concerned - even when we tried to explain about the food they just smiled and walked away. They even seemed surprised when we took the service charge off the bill. Overall it was not a positive experience and would not go back.

I chose to visit here for lunch as I know many from my company are regulars, located nearby .For an Italian there selection of vegetarian options is pretty poor so I wish I had gone with my ‘feeling’ and booked elsewhere.

I chose brushetta for starter, with the truffle pasta for main together with a salad. The brushetta was gorgeous, lovely succulent tomatoes and really generous portion so all looked well.... Until barely half way through, and they presented both our main options, with my pasta dish just plonked by the side of my starter, crowding our table so much it was half hanging off it and made eating quite uncomfortable! When I finally came to eat my pasta, though delicious, by now of course it was barely luke warm. Even service in the most basic pizza chains understand to let customers finish their starters, with a gap in between before even daring to bring the main courses. I felt this was just incredibly rude. Not to mention the fact this dish could be ready in such super quick time, hinting it must have just been microwaved warm (not great when paying £11 for the pleasure!).

The accompanying tomato salad was pretty dire, with totally tough, near yellow large and juiceless tomatoes which I only ate due to being so hungry!

My companion had the spaghetti pomadoro which I have to say he loved, so all well there.

For desert I ordered a Caffè macchiato with tiramisu. The waitress came back and asked me to confirm what I meant by this coffee and then said so just a sliver of coffee? I assumed she must know, knowing from experience this is one of the most popular coffees in Italy. On arrival nope: they had not understood, presenting me with a latte in a tall glass that was super extra creamy, and as she said- just a dash of coffee in there! Completely the opposite of what Id wanted, and the other waitress again had no idea what a Caffè macchiato was?! When all Pizza Express staff are briefed as to this drink and always serve it perfectly, for an actual Italian restaurant to not ensure their staff are briefed on simple, but pretty essential things like this was very bizarre. My tiramisu: horrible!! It had inch think cocoa making me cough every bite I took and had a very odd custard like texture rather than the usual creamy mascarpone, which meant I left 2/3 as it was just not at all pleasant.

When we came to paying the bill the waitress was hovering over the card machine and before we even got to that stage- peered over our shoulder and made sure to mention tip was not included!

After getting up, the final insult was as I approached the door was waiter stood right next to it, and watching me approach. rather than holding it open for me took a look at me and dashed off in the opposite direction?!

What we had wanted to be a leisurely meal(Id reserved in advance) lasted less than an hour, with dishes whipped instantly away and even the next course plonked next you -while still only half way through the old!

There is not a great atmosphere (with very 'cold' feeling tiled floor, wooden walls and dimmed lights), my food was below par, prices are pretty high and service aloof and arrogant (Ive since heard this same complaint from other colleagues who I hope finally take their business elsewhere). I think it survives by being the first restaurant bang out of Harrods but as word spreads they will need to up their game!

This restaurant is located oposite Harrod's so everytime my partner and I go there for shopping we always choose Zia Teressa to dine. The food is excellent. My favourite dish there is Spaggeti Garbonara and i would definatly recomend it. Perhaps the best i've ever tasted!!! There's a great selection of wines and the deserts are amazingly delicious. I just love this restaurant. The service is not always the best but the enviroment is very nice and i love the cloud paintings on the seiling. I also love the fact that if the weather is nice you can sit outside as well.
