it is the best Italian place i have been to the food is nice and so is the service. i cant wait to go back here for my birthday :D

Been coming here on and off since it opened 10 years ago. I have never been disappointed. The food is always terrific, tonight my wife and daughter marvelled at the wonderful risotto they had. The portions are very generous and most importantly the waiters and owner are always friendly and generous. Lots of joking and laughing with us and the children, which is as important as he food and atmosphere.

My only regret is that, despite it being a 5 minute walk from my house, I haven't been here enough.

A great local restaurant serving great food and the people who work there really make it work. If you live anywhere near Amen Corner in Tooting, you must go. I think they do take away pizzas, which are great. Oh, and prices are pretty good too.

Just back from eating here as we do often,

The food was excellent as always made from the finest and freshest ingredients and the service was fantastic, we will always go back here time and time again, as it is good value for money.

Weird review from Rosa below. Maybe she's a fan of, or connected to, the Italian just up the road? Does she know how bad a ready-meal really is?!

Sette Bello is always busy when I have been too. This is because it offers great Italian food, good prices and brilliant, friendly service. The staff are so welcoming, and always happy to chat to you about the best things on the menu.

In an area of amazing curry restaurants, it's great to have an Italian alternative.

I have no idea who Rosa is that has made a stupid contribution regarding this local eaterie, she obviously is a sort of take away person and does not appreciate good food. We regularly eat at Pizzeria Sette Bello and can find no fault with this place whatsoever, the staff are always friendly and the food is always to our liking.

We live around the corner and end up going here maybe once every 3 years or so. We just went the other night and won't be rushing back. The good points about this restaurant are that it is cheap, the portions are substantial and it is a convivial place. The bad point is that the food is pretty indifferent, certainly no better than a Sainsbury's ready-made Italian meal or a Pizza Express meal - which is not very good considering that the owner and chef are Italian! Come on Mr Sette Bello - it isn't that difficult to make a nice pasta sauce that tastes like it does in Italy, and a nice cheap proper Italian local would be absolutely wonderful and packed out every night (which Sette Bello is not).

I love this place and would recommend it in a heartbeat. Not only are the pizzas huge and delicious, but pasta is perfectly cooked and sauces always rich and hearty. Very good value for money, a friendly relaxed atmosphere and wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. A great all rounder.

I'm pleased to say this restaurant is very near my home as one can always rely on a warm, friendly service and a consistently reliable standard of food. The menu may be rather old fashioned - lets say "traditional" - but the ingredients are of good quality (they usually have an excellent "specials" board) and always well cooked. For good, "down-to-earth, Italian cooking it can't be beat. I strongly recommend it.

When it comes to reccession, it is these local eateries that are affected the most, top Italian restaurants within Central London may look busy, but they cater to affluent central London residents and tourists. Please support your local restaurants as much as possible

Anyway Pizzeria Sette Bello serves truely amazing Italian food that can only be described as fresh, flavoursome and affordable, especially as their food is made from very good ingriedients and specials change seasonly.

Their garlic bread with Mozzeralla is the size of a Pizza and has perfectly seasoned Mozeralla with fresh garlic and dough so light it will melt in your mouth.

However the true gem of this place is specials that change almost on a weekly basis that use fresh seafood, this is the cut above from your normal Pizzeria at normal Pizzeria prices and worth trying.

Highly recommended place, especially if you live around Tooting

Our local treasure. Always fabulous service very very warm welcome from Tony and team. Food is simple italian with outstanding pasta and pizza specials are always good to go for with fresh fish our favourite. Very family friendly for both the kids and the crinkles. We ususally end up here a couple of times a month, it's just so easy and doesn't blow the budget.
