ERIKI is consistently first class. The refurb is absolutely stunning with beautiful warm, velvety colours and the glass front is awesome.

The food is as always (nearly 6 years, I believe?) is excellent - I tried the new Sea Bass Peri Peri sizzler and it was fresh, spicy and simply divine. We also order Home Dining which is just as good as eating in.

By far the best Indian restaurant in London with a service that is constant even with a regular full house.

This Indian restaurant is so different from almost any other restaurant i have been to. I read all the comments about Eriki which went from fantastic to poor. On arrival it was two thirds full. I was shown to a table within seconds. They asked if we would like a drink. I asked for a jug of water which came immediately. Within 5 minutes we were asked what we would like to eat. We started with calamari, followed by Handy Lamb Birianni and Chicken Korma together with the usual bits and pieces. The service throughout the meal was very good. Certainly a restaurant to go back to.

Went after a long time - was deeply disappointed. Everything had gone down hill. Shame really as used to be a good joint. Not sure if I'll go back again. Although lamb with spinach was good - everything else we ordered tasted the same as the next.

I went to Eriki last night - having been several times before - with two friends and was disappointed by the service overall.

The food is still very good, but the staff come across rather rushed. Admittedly, it was a busy night, but I still find it quite annoying when the waiter is in an obvious rush to clear your table and start removing plate and food before you have actually finished. Despite there only being two other guests left in the restaurant, it also took them a long time to process our card transaction. But it's still a good local with above average food.

Came here with friends who live in the area and loved the food. Service could have been better in all honesty, was not impressed in trying to deal with a full house however the food did make up for this and it did remind me of home with authentic northern indian food. Ordered the seafood curry, dark lentil curry and chick pea curry - all recommended dishes.

I went there with another five people on Thursday night, having never visited (despite living nearby), and was extremely impressed. The service and decor were good, but the food was absolutely outstanding. We shared a vegetarian starter delection of five dishes, each of which was different, and delicious - very well done (I am very picky about food!). the menu is more varied than traditional Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants, and the flavourng far more subtle and considered.

Main courses were also delicious: kali dahl, with black and red lentils; an excellent paneer dish, and a mixed vegetable dish with rice and naan were all good, and a cut above the standard fare.

Considering the quality of the food, I thought it was more than fairly priced. If equivalent European food was being served it would easily be 50% more per dish.

This restaurant is pure class. Eriki is not your run of the mill Indian - Food is carefully prepared by proper chefs and this quality nose-bag just keeps on coming from the well mannered staff whatever you order from the menu. I have never had a bad meal at this place.

Eriki is always heaving for dinner at the end of the week which means there is always a buzz about the place.

Highly recommended.

Lovely restaurant, stylish cutlery and dishes a million miles away from the 'flocked wallpaper' look, yet still recognisably Indian. I love the Kerala Seafood curry, and there are several fish choices on the menu. The clientele is mainly European, and I won't be able to say how authentic the food is until I come back from India in a couple of weeks' time. All I can say is, what I've had to eat here is delicious.

An excellent restaurant which we went to following a review in the Time Out 2007 guide -"one of London's unsung champions" -I totally agree. They have had a Red Star for 3 years now!
