Firehouse

We had a company xmas party at the Firehouse in December and were very disappointed. The restaurant insisted on a minimum spend, which they did not tell us at the time of the booking although this was later dropped. On the day of the party we were informed we could not continue the party after dinner at the nightclub as there was a private party. This meant our xmas party was cut short. The food was also less than satisfactory, it took hours to serve as the staff were more concerned about serving the people at the nightclub, plus staff were extremely rude. We definitely won't be going back!

Went to the firehouse yesterday and really liked it. Bar staff was friendly and quick and I was able to pay with debit card with no complaining or minimum spend.

Bar was busy but cosy with roaring fires. The music was good in both the bar and the club.

I will go back again.

Rubbish. Overpriced drinks, poor quality food & v.rude staff. Min GBP 100 bar spend in order to pay by debit / credit card. Take my advice and go somewhere else.

This place is truly terrible. The bar staff are rude and aggressive, you have to wait 4 hours for a two course meal, you get short-changed by the obnoxius people behind the bar and the bouncers are totally intimadating, even to single women. Would strongly advise against going here. At all costs!

I attended my step brothers birthday party here in 2005, I found the venue pleasing and the food fairly good, however after some freinds of my step brothers became a bit wild the staff became loutish and aggressive, and unfortunately not just with the culprits! The venue is very pleasent and the decor tastefull but it semed if the owner were a lolipop he would lick himself all over!

i visited the fire house with three friends recently, to say we had an excellent time would be an understatement. we ate in the restaurant the food was remarkable, each of us had different dishes and all of them absolutely delicious. the service was second to none. an amazing place that we will definately recomend and revisit.

I was taken to dinner as a reluctant guest fearing the worst of nightclub food but amazed to find a very civilised restaurant and tasty food!Will return for sure.

What a load of tosh, despite appearing like a quite and funky bar, the staff are mega unfriendly, let alone walking into the ladies to be met by 2 men indulging themselves in 'other' activities.

I have to say that I was very disappointed with both food and service. My starter was cold, main course very uninspired and dessert below par.

For the relatively high prices this restaurant is probably the worst I have eaten at in London.

The setting is nice though. It's such a shame that everything else is so disappointing.

I went here on a saturday night with my boyfriend even after reading less than appealing reviews!!! I have to say although a bit hard to find at first! it was well worth it, the food was devine, the staff the most friendly and proffesional I have had the good fortune to come across and the wine was fantastic and not as pricey as I would expect from a members club, they did have a party going on but this did not stop us being looked after by the staff. I would recommend this venue to anyone just be warned the desserts are fantastic so it's a case of diet out the window!!!
