We called for sunday lunch on 7.feb.2010 the food was fatastic, the service & the value for money were excellent the next time i am in london i will make a point of retuning

I went to Willie's recently on a Thursday night when you would expect a little atmosphere. Certainly, the neighbouring resturants were busy, But, sadly, Willie's was utterly, cavernously empty. Like, tumbleweed. And, even though they had no other customers to speak of, the food served (burger and venison, for the record) was depressing. Pub fare at restaurant prices, to be fair.

It's hard to see where Willie's goes from here, given the fierce competition that has sprung up around them on Garratt Lane. Sell up to a GBK, perchance.

The reviewers on this place are having a laugh! Diabolical restaurant with appallingly slow service. Unless you're looking for bacon and eggs on a Saturday morning, avoid like the plague.

I have been to Willie Gunn's a few times and its always been lovely the atmosphere is so relaxed and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food matches the ambience i had the steak which was simply divine i will definately be back x
