Itsu (Canary Wharf)

Some people have given this place a real bad review, but its not that bad... its different...! Its healthy, tasty and good value. The frozen yoghurts are delicious and a great low fat alternative to ice cream. Go on, give it a go!

So its not real Japanese Sushi, well neither is Chicken Tikka Masala Indian! the point here is simple, ITSU serves so called sushi so that it can be stomached by some who do not always appreciate raw sea food, it also means that if you like real sushi like me, you can persuade those who may like something else to come along. I have enjoyed every visit, food is fresh, healthy and above all tasty. This is a great place for lunch and the service cannot be faulted. Make sure you try some of the a la carte items, like the satays and scewered prawns. Slightly pricey, however just see it as a treat and enjoy. !!

Having read some of the reviews of Itsu on this site, I wasn't keen at all, but my girlfriend insisted..... and what a pleasant suprise. The staff were very friendly, we had to make the effort to talk to them at first, but after that they were all smiles and excellent service. The food was good (I don't claim to be a sushi expert, but it tasted good!), and it was intersting as well. The drinks were nice too, and the whole meal was very reasonably priced. I would happily go here again.

I liked the innovative idea of service which is very quick as well. had good food and good time there, though its always crowdy and noisy but then its one of the famous, so no problem.

AVOID THIS PALCE AT ALL COSTS!!!

This palce is just awful! My boyfriend and I went there last year for japanese food and it was very disappointing!! First of all, we went during the day around mid afternoon and the place was completely empty..the lack of customers speaks for itself!!

We were left waiting for at least 5 minutes before any of the staff bothered to acknowledge us and gave us seats. We were then told the conveyor belt was broken, which ruined the fun eating experience! We dont know whether they were lying to us because they couldnt be bothered to switch it on for us two!

Anyway the food portions are meagre, too expensive & not even very tasty! Even the chocolate dessert was tiny and a rip off!

Definitely will never visit this place again and will not recommend anyone else to bother!

Bad bad bad. Not good sushi at all - poor ingredients and unauthentic recipes. Don't bother visiting here!
