We went to Angelo's for Sunday lunch, a party of four, two Greeks and two Americans. A great experience overall with very nice food and a very helpful and accommodating waiter (who is I think the owner of the place as well). The spanakopita (spinach pie) for starter is as good as you can find in any Greek taverna in Athens and we also liked the dolmades. For main I had the charcoal-grilled trout (very fresh and delicious) and the two ladies had the kleftika (slow cooked lamb) which was melting in the mouth - extremely tasty! The other guy had moussaka which was very good as well. The food in general did not feel heavy, and it was definitely very authentic. My girlfriend didn't like the cappuccino at the end, but then again it was not an Italian restaurant, so this is to be expected and it did not detract from the overall assessment of the place, which was excellent. It was also very reasonably priced, probably cheaper than many equivalent places in Athens.

We're eaten here twice now, the service and the food are excellent. Its a more intimate restaurant, with an a la carte and a set 3 course with plenty of choice, reasonably priced - and it is authentic Greek. Would reccomend it for couples and 4s, rather than a party.
