Went to Nosh for a belated birthday meal & I have to say it was well worth waiting for. A very warm, friendly restaurant with suberb food and great service without the price tag of a Richmond Venue. Looking forward ot going back.

After reading the reviews we were really excited at the prospect of going to Nosh. We ordered a lovely bottle of red wine and between the 4 of us had got well into the second bottle by the time starters arrives. These were all good especially the prawns. The main courses arrived fairly promply and flavours were great although the pork chops were very dry and we were hungry so didn't wan tto send them back. First class banoffee pie shared for desert. i would go again but just hope the meat wasn't overcooked next time!

What can I say that hasn't already been said! The food is still superb, the Venison Burger was more than ample and the Baked King Clip was an amazing try. They still have the trusty Chocolate Fondant which is hard to beat on the desert menu. Staff are always warm and friendly, this has to be the finest restaurant in St. Margarets-if not Richmond!

All the superlatives in other reviews are spot on. The food, value, decor, and service are all wonderful. A shame though that smoking is still tolerated and allowed to detract from the wonderful food aromas and tastes.

Wow.. a top little restaurant. I'd tried to book into A Cena in Richmond a little late in the day and decided to try here (albiet different cuisine) after reading the reviews.
Nice open decor, really relaxed casual atmosphere and attentive but never intrusive staff. The food was fairly top notch though portion wise it was definately gourmet size (though I prefer quality over quantity any day of the week and this was quality). I had chicken skewers with mustard as a starter, for mains my wife had a seared tuna fillet on toast with salad while I had a slow roasted pork belly on a bed of noodles.
Very varied menu, and not a bad collection of seafood going on. Though the wine list is not huge, there look like some well thought out entries in there with a good mix of South African, New Zealand and Australian wines.
I thought the Red Room in Richmond was good, but this place easily competes and probably surpasses.
Two courses, wine, a dessert and service set us back around £70 for two.
We'll definately be back!

My husband and I went to Nosh after reading the reviews and are so glad we did!
I can't remember the last time we both had such a wonderful night out. The service was exceptional - attentive but unintrusive. The resturant itself was busy enough but not so busy that you felt rushed - we spent 3 hours and never once felt like we were just taking up space.
The wine list was great, our white wine arrived chilled to perfection, and the specials sounded amazing. Both my husband's venison and my fish were lovely, and the portions were surprisingly large and excellent value for money. My husband had the mussels starter - it was so big it could have been a main. Dessert was delicious, coffee was excellent, and we were offered a limoncello to end the meal on the house.
The only reason not to recommend Nosh is that as we now consider it our favourite restaurant, we would hate it to get so busy that we couldn't get a table!

Had another fantastic meal in here last Friday! Took some friends there and they loved it. The quality of food is exceptional, in particular the prawn starter and the very very succulent beef wellington. The service as always is one of the main reasons for going here, the atmosphere, friendless and food make it wonderful value for money!

I'm a bit of a regular now. Why bother going to the West End or even to Richmond when Nosh is on your doorstep?!! Great food, fab wine list and the service is friendly and you're made to feel very welcome.
I recommend to everyone.
