last week i and my mates went there, it is not vine leaf any more. it is joveta's cafe and restaurant. oh, that's crap! the service was not as good as we wished! neither was the food!

not good! i can't believe that there was a fly in our pasta, and the boss didn't even apolygize to us. now it's changed to jovita's cafe and restaurant.

No longer the same Vine Leaf.

The original proprieter has left. It's certainly not run by Italians any more!

My partner and I went and the place was dessolate (although it was a week night) and I asked if it was under new management, which was confirmed. I asked if the food was still Italian (I had to check because the special of the day was something like jerk chicken?!!??!)

We took the menus (same menus the last chap had) and was told they could do everything apart from pizza. The pizza at this place before is what made it damn brilliant...

A few select pasta dishes were available. Suffice to say we did not dine there..a sad loss of a great restaurant.

This is not a Cafe Uno franchise and a good Italian can not be ran by non-Italian amateurs! I suggest if the people currently running the place want to make a success of it they come up with their own cuisine!

NB. Reviews all listed as 5 as we did not dine.

Top place. Pizzas are fabulous and the pan-fried chicken in pesto is great too.

Good wine selection, and Nastro Azuro on tap too!

The restaurant is done out really nicely, with the twinkling lights in the ceiling a nice touch.

Only slight downer is the service can sometimes be below par. But the food is so good, and the prices so cheap you probably won't care!

You can afford to dine here with only a couple of notes in your back pocket and it will fill you up for a week! The portions are on the large side - excellent value for money. The food really is fantastic; the pizzas, the pastas just perfect.

The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed so its a great place to go with your partner or with a group of friends.

I've been here several times now and its becoming my regular!

Cheap and cheerful with a great atmosphere. Twinkly lights on the ceiling and artwork for sale on the walls. Nice winelist and Nastro Azzuro on tap! What more could you ask for?? (Have the breaded mozzarella with garlic mayonnaise - yum!)
