Sargasso Sea

Went here in January and are going again. Not cheap, but great food and friendly helpful staff. Recommended. Also, minor celebrities spotted... (East Enders 'stars'). Bit noisy as very busy and wooden floors etc are a little echoey.

Unless you really do not like seafood this restaurant is superb. Food is amazing, service generally very good. Bit pricey for the area but worth it.

THIS WAS A LOVELY RESTAURANT; WELL SUITED FOR A FIRST DATE IF YOU WANT TO START OFF WITH GOOD TASTE. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND I'LL RECOMMEND THE SPAGHETTI AND LOBSTER ANYTIME. IT WAS DE-LI-CI-OU-S.

I'M GOING TONIGHT AND AGAIN WHEN MY HUSBAND MESSES UP. I'LL NOT BE WAITING TOO LONG (JOKE).

SERIOUSLY THOUGH, ITS THE FIRST FISH RESTAURANT I WENT TO AND I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED.

I have been to this restaurant twice and it was great, very relaxed and chilled.

The food is out of this world and my Fiance and I are going again for our 3 year Anniversary on 20th December, I cannot wait.

Went here last week with a party of six at lunchtime for my parents Golden Wedding. Service was fantastic and the food spot on. The Friday lunchtime set menu was fantastic value, and you could mix and match it with the a la carte to get the best of both worlds. A friend had rung the restaurant the night before to organise Champagne, and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived.

The restaurant was quiet, but not empty, and following my request we had been seated in an area where the background music could be turned off, to help my father's hearing!

This is the third time in a month that I've eaten here, and have yet to be disappoinred. A sea-food lovers dream.

Fantastic seafood - cooked to perfection. There are not many places you can get good shellfish. Good sized portions too. Service was good - efficient and friendly. Will definitely be bringing my shellfish loving friends there.

Quite possibly the best seafood restaurant in London. Excellent fish, which is fresh, served simply and in huge portions. The wine list is extensive and not too pricey either. Decor matches the best of any West End Restaurant. Book early as the place is rammed most nights. I will be going back again, very soon. P.S. Not sure why I am telling you this, it will make getting a table even harder!

This restaurant is unbeatable if you are a seafood lover. Quality food, generous portions, beautiful presentation and the ambiance rivals any quality central London venue. Great service and definately a must if you want to impress. We love it so much we hired it out for our daughter's Christening Reception! Thank you for bringing such class to North London.
