One of the best Italians I have ever been too!

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere, great service!

I have been here a few times and I never fail to be impressed.

The staff will go out of the way for you if something is not on the menu and are really attentive and won't kick you out even if they are rammed and you've been at your table for hours.

This place is always busy and rightly so!

The only downside is they are not open on Sundays!!

A busy Valentine's Night, in spite of that, some of the staff found time to chat. Service excellent. A set menu for the evening but a starter not part of the menu was prepared for my wife. Food delicious. Pleasant atmosphere. We will return.

Another successful visit to this restaurant. Gluten-free pasta available but also made a wine sauce to compliment my lamb cutlets. The creme brulee was delicious, too

I have been going to Da Marios for several years now and it never disappoints.I recently visited with my husband for an anniversary meal. My starter of squid with chick peas was lovely, light and fresh. My husband had a delicious lamb shank and I had a pasta dish which was excellent. There is always a really good choice on the menu, and also on the specials blackboard.

It is always good to be welcomed as old friends, although we don't go there as often as I would like!

It was very busy (Thursday evening) but service was attentive and the three staff worked seamlessly together.

We ate at Da Marios at the weekend before going onto the ballet. I'd done quite a bit of research on the internet because I wanted somewhere nice but reasonably inexpensive, no mean feat in London. Well I'm absolutely gobsmacked at how good Da Marios is for the price. The restaurant is cosy and romantic, just how an Italian should be. Then we looked at the menu and couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were. I had scallops to start and linguini with half lobster for main and despite these 2 things being pretty much the most expensive on the menu, along with my partner's food and a lovely bottle of Pinot Grigio the bill was less than £60. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I would recommend it to anyone and shall definitely re-visit whenever I'm back in London.

Thanks to all at the restaurant for being part of what turned out to be an absolutely perfect evening.

Exellent value, great food. I have been going to da mario for three years and it never lets me down. This sort of restaurant is an endangered species in this world of designer eats and mad prices.

Lets support the small guys and enjoy it while you can.

Three of us arrived at this very busy restaurant last (Saturday) night at 10.50pm without a booking. We were immediately given the warmest of welcomes, and over the ensuing hour or so dined very well on scallops, minsetrone soup, house salad, with various home-made pasta dishes as our main course. With water, wine and coffee, the bill came to £60 including service charge. The ambience was lively, our waiter was lovely and the food really delicious. If I'd read the two November reviews below, we'd never have risked going there. I'm glad we did, however, and we shall return.

I am sure this place was a nice place to dine before it got so popular.

But I found this restaurant not pleasant place to be at all from start to finish, and the food was merely okay.

well, plenty fish in the pond.
