If you like meat, there is very few places in London that can match the offering of this restaurant. Not a long list, but of hghest quality, very well prepared, with portions a bit on the small side. Pata negra and suckling pig are outstanding - I haven't tried the whole menu. The wine list is long and distinguished, strong on top Spanish reds; they really are outstanding, go well with the food and cost appropriately plus a bit extra. Be prepared to spend £50-£120 per bottle and you won't be dissappointed. If you are on a budget do not eat here; however, if £75+ per head including drink is not a problem for you, this is one of the better Spanish places in the Capital. Service can be erratic, but my experience was generally good.

We are Spanish and we really wanted to try this restaurant. Unfortunately it's not worth it. Pretty close to be a rip off. It didn't live to our expectations at all. Prices are in line with the area but the portions are ridiculous. Moreover, part of the staff is rude and pretentious. We were offered a table at 22:45 and had to wait for over 15 minutes. They closed the kitchen without warning so we didn't have the chance to order desserts. Frankly, the combination of noise, average food and service does not deserve your custom.

We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening and I felt compelled to write a review. Although the food is delicious and well presented every other aspect of this restaurant really lets it down. The portion sizes are laughable- I have no idea how you are supposed to share a tapas portion which consists of 2 cherry tomatoes and 3 tiny pieces of chargrilled pepper, we thought we'd mistakenly ordered starter-sized main courses of beef but no, that was it. The staff were very rude, when we asked our waiter to recommend a bottle of merlot he recommended a £90 bottle but when we said we'd choose something else he said 'Why, is that too expensive?' and the service continued in that kind of arrogant, unprofessional fashion.
We eat out in this area all the time and are happy to pay top prices for a good meal and good service but this is just a blatant rip off and they know it.
We had to find something else to eat when we got home.

We arrived 10 minutes earlier than our reservation and although several tables were empty, we were given the worst table, the one in the middle of the restaurant, close to the bar area, in the middle of the waiter's way.
We asked politely to change table 3 times but this was refused with no reason.
As it was getting very difficult to relax with 5 waiters around us screaming and running around, we asked again and this time we were prepared to leave the place without food. At that point we got offered a better table, which turned the whole experience into something very special.
The service is a bit unorganised, but the waiters were very friendly.
The food is excellent, although expensive, and there is a great selection of wines.
Overall, it’s a great place for a special occasion; just make sure you book a nice table!

Very impressed. Staff excellent as you would expect from Spaniards. Impressive ambience has been created at top class Iberian restaurant.

Amazing Place. Food is Michelin star stuff. Warm-blooded Mediterranean service with personality. Great wine list. Try the 'thin and flat' foie gras, grilled octopus, pata negra, chorizo with goat cheese and others. Bit pricey though i grant you that.

What a terrific treat - hired the private dining room for an impromptu singles dinner party last Saturday. Exceptional service from Alex, our waiter meant the evening went without a glitch. With a selection of 3 tapas each, the food was varied and very flavoursome. The wine list is fantastic and as a venue one that is highly recommended.

Overall very reasonable service/quality-wise. Nice atmosphere too. We did not experience the problems with pushy waiters or with long serving times. (Possibly we were lucky?).
However in terms of value for money I would recommend against eating there because while the food is presented well and is quite tasty, you get very little for the money paid.
Recommend for those who have money to spare, everyone else should look for a cheaper alternative.
