Matsuri High Holborn

I went for a business lunch - quite buzzy and friendly staff. Food was amazing although they brought everything topsy turvy and we had to send it back twice.

Worth a look for the Sashimi and if you are in the area wouldn't say it's the best of the best.

Booked a teppan yaki lunch for my husbands birthday. Had a really nice lunch and even went as far as to ask the staff to bring out a b'day cake for my hubby. They were great about the whole thing and even served a slice of us all to eat.

Superb! I think this restaurant is the one of best japanese restaurants in London! They served genuine japanese food to me. You should try a crispy tempra and fresh sashimi&sushi! Their services are also brilliant!

Go to other canteens if you don't care quality but I strongly suggest Matsuri High Holborn if you are looking for authentic Japanese food.

Food was Ok,but nothing special.Service..?

Very dissapoited.Especially lady at receiption,she never smile !!! Even I said thank you, she didn't reply.You can find better Japanese restaurants in London !!

Although it's expensive, this place has some of the best sushi I've found in London. The soft-shell spider crab sushi is divine. The service is respectful and very Japanese, in that they are very quick to respond and very polite. Only problem is that I've sat at the sushi bar beside Japanese businessmen who smoked constantly through their (and my) meal.

I've been there twice. The quality of the good is ok, but it just isnt worth the price. The teppan yaki didn't wow me at all, I've had much better japanese food at this price elsewhere. Don't bother.
