Eclipse Wimbledon

I've been a fan of this place for a long time, always bringing friends and colleagues and although expensive it's always been worth it. Until now....

It's recently been acquired and has lost everything it had going for it. The great bar staff like Stephen have been replaced by rude obnoxious robots, the bouncers are far too big for their boots and the new owner has no idea how to run a bar. There's a reason why this place is now empty, even at the height of a Saturday night.

It's such a shame that a once fab place has turned into the mess that it is. If I want pretentious and expensive clubs then I'll go to Alto or Mahiki, in SW19 I want a nice place with a good atmosphere selling great drinks served by great bar staff,

Unfortunately that's for times gone by, This place has the wrong crowd, the wrong staff and the wrong owner. Thanks for many great nights Eclipse but it's all over for me and all the people I know that have frequented the place over the past 10 years. Adios.

Pricey, very pricey but then it is a nice little bar. It's not exactly on par with Boujis but it's not bad.

Definitely not the place to go for food, they offer up snacks rather than anything substantial.
