Galicia Tapas Bar & Restaurant

I've been going to Galicia for 10 years. We go there at least once a week. What can I say.... the food is fantastic... the service is brilliant.... the atmosphere is awsome. I had my Baby's Christening party there. Everyone has since said it's the best party ever. The waiters are very helpful. After all these years of going there, I now know all the staffs by their first name... also the chefs. The price is very affordable.

We went for the 1st time last year for a friends birthday, it was lovely. The food was excellent and so was the service. I enjoyed the busy atmosphere around us and looking at everyones dishes. We are going back there this week-end for my partners birthday, hopefully it will be just as good.

We drove a long way on Sunday to celebrate our old friends 80th Birthday we felt very tired when we got there but the atmosphere lifted us it was wonderful. Although very relaxed the restaurant is still very bussie.

The food was excellent. Something to suit everybodies taste. There were 10 of us and there was not one complaint.

The service was great and the waiters helped make it a special day.

We live in North London I wish that Galicia would open over this side of the river because I know many of our friends would love it.

Went to Galicia with a friend after going with my family to its sister Tapas bar in Purley ,Las Fuentes. We were not disappointed. The whole place was packed so we sat at the bar and asked for a table for Tapas. We only had to wait about 15 minutes. There was a great selection of Tapas to choose from, they were reasonably priced and were all delicious. A fabulous place to go, good value, fast efficient service, great atmosphere and speaking personally all the better for the smoking ban.

What can I say! I go to this restaurant at least once a month, it is the best in Croydon in my opinion. Try the stuffed mushrooms for a gorgeous combination of spinach and mushrooms. There is always a great atmosphere even on a week night. The staff are courteous and friendly. Expect to wait for a table on a Friday or Saturday evening as this place is very popular!

Galicia is a really great restaurant to go to, any day of the week, it is always busy, always a lively atmosphere and the staff are great characters. Mind being caught in there for a birthday though as they celebrate with a great banging of trays and such! The food is always good and the portions are very reasonable, definite value for money.
