I had a great Macaroni & Cheese laced with bacon ..... I hadn't intended on eating here as I was out for drinks, but I saw the waitress walk past with it, and it looked amazing! It was very tasty - and 2 more in my group decided to order them too.

Good pub food.

Deffinatley worth trying to re create at home. Perfect for a satisfying meal.

There are some pubs that boast being able to pull off the best Bloody Marys, but the Queens Head bar staff can certainly kick some Bloody Mary Ass!!

The lady that made my Bloody Mary literally was spot on - and she put a lot of time and effort into it too, secret ingredients to boot! Anyway it was very tasty and worth the money. She also told me how to make it and I have been making them ever since.

She recommended having a Queens Roast - which was a generous helping of Beef, Lamb & Chicken - extra roast potato's & yorkies with vege. It was a great suggestion as I didn't know which roast I was going to have anyway - so all 3 together was great and well and truly satisfying. I did have to wait a while to order my desert - but it was fine as I had just enough energy to have a game of Jenga which was on the bar.

I had a great Sunday - great food - very tasty cocktails.

Well one thing I think you always remember is your last great sunday roast, I will not be forgeting the one I had here. I decided to warm up in preperation for the queens roast with some classic pub grub, whitebait, It was cooked beautifully nice and crispy. Fully warmed up the epic feast that lied ahead I ordered my queens roast, I got a huge plate with beef, lamb, goosnargh chicken and double the trimmings. It wasn't the size that has gotten me so excited but the standard. The meat was cooked to perfection, med rare for the meats, and the chicken was of such high standard, then the gravy to round it all off. I will be sorting my hangovers everyweek from now on.

I came here on Friday night with some friends and had a fantastic time. The staff were helpful and quick to serve us, despite it being a busy night. The decor of the place was really artistic which suited the Islington/Angel area we were in, and we all loved the atmosphere at the venue. Fantastic ambiance, fantastic drinks, fantastic night out! I'll be going back soon. Thank you Old Queen's Head!
