I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for many years. In fact these last two weeks I have been four times. I went there this evening on Valentine's Day with my partner. We had a lovely evening until.... We came into contact with Captain Nemo! Not sure if he is the owner or person pushes the self destruct button on "Customer Relationships Skills". At the end of the meal I presented my fully stamped loyalty card to benefit from my "Loyalty Discount". Apparently in this establishment loyalty works only ONE way. Yes you guessed it, from the customer! I was told by the Captain that I was ineligible to use the card because if I had read the menu (no mention of that on loyalty card), then I would have known that unless I had three courses, then I was unable to use it. A bit daft really because, the Captain had stamped the card 6 times previously and in spite of the fact that he would have saved money by giving a discount on two courses. Additionally he went into a tirade about the hours he worked and that he made little profit etc..etc..thinking to myself, if after he explained it civilly and recognised me as he did as a regular customer, he would not only saved my eyes, retained his "Customer Relation Skill", but also, retained me as a continued regular customer (and of course all the recommendations I have given to friends to go there and who are no doubt regular customers too, but hopefully not for too much longer). A compromise would have resolved the issue, but no not Captain Nemo!. Goodbye Captain Nemo, so much for your useless loyalty card. Now torn up and in the bin, as I won't need it anymore nor Ambiente .... PS The staff are great but Captain Nemo Nah!

Oh my goodness! Rude rude rude! DO NOT GO HERE!

They upset me 5 years ago on a lunch with 3 mnth old baby...

We give them a second chance 5 years later without baby on a "date night" and they are rude again... I can't believe it! At 9.09 pm on a Saturday night* (Tonight) we were told that the kitchen is now closed and we couldn't dine there

So we went to the very friendly Sakura sushi place instead!

Please do not go there! Terrible. .. rude... no more chances. Grazie!

Walked in to this restaurant today with 2 other adults and my 1 year old in a buggy. Despite there being plenty of room, we were turned away and told that they couldn't accommodate the buggy. I even pointed out where the buggy could sit so that it wouldn't be in the way but still they had a problem with it. Disgusting attitude! Needless to say we didn't eat there and I know that I won't be recommending this place to any friends!
