I have been a regular at this restaurant since it opened. I feel that the food is good but the service has gone downhill. Be aware of what 'deal' you end up getting as I went in thinking I had ordered the deal on the board outside only to be told something different afterwards and being charged more. The waitress was not clear what was and was not included in the deal. I also should have clarified but when I told her it was not made clear, she did not even apologise or show any satisfactory level of customer service. I am afraid there is a lot more competition now in Finchley for basic Italian pizza and pasta and I will transfer my loyalty to the competition such as Siaim and Barista. So long Ambiente...

Me and my two friends never actually managed to enter the restaurant as we had three buggies and the owner thought that there was no space for the buggies. It was lunch time and the place was empty.

A credit to Finchley.

Very friendly, efficient and courteous staff. Fresh, tasty and generously portioned food.

Slightly odd location, though. But then options (for businesses) are somewhat limited in Finchley. One can't complain.

Sometimes they open the front of the restaurant during good weather, which I think is a nice touch. It's a pity we don't have more of a street dining culture in this country. This restaurant looks like they would want to take advantage of it.
