Loch Fyne St Albans

The Venue - a snuggly located restuarant just off St Albans main highstreet. A cobbled driveway leads you down to a modern, neat entrance of large glass pannel windows framed in wood. A contemporary quay side design much like you'd find in the new dock developments in london and many of our southern and South West Coast towns.
The ambience - A young friendly staff. A hum of conversation with background music at the right volume and an open working kicthen and prep area in the centre.
The Food - Excellent. Wide variety of fish and shellfish as well as a few selected British alternavies. served in managable but satisfying portions, cooked with flavour and presented very well.
The cost - I had the platter which included Lobster but i know what to expect so the bill wasn't too heart stopping. the rest of the menu for food and drinks was reasonable especially considerng the over all dining exprience was of such a high standard.
