Dined there twice recently. On the first occasion the oysters were superb, but less so second time around. The food was generally nicely prepared. However, main courses were pretty small. They may pretend this to be French style, but the richness is not French and so you end half-hungry (or otherwise eating silly chips or boiled vegetables) for 50 pounds a head. In the Pollock -seafood selection course, there was one langoustine (king prawn) while two were advertised: we were on invitation, otherwise this would have been returned. Sea bream + scallops were nice, but not hot, the course was tiny and with a blunt hint of a garnish (setting you back 16 pound). Sardines were overdone, albeit fresh. Sea bass was good but again the sauce was lacking any lustre. Salads and side dishes were fresh but no spark whatsoever. Espresso was warm, not hot. Wine selection was fine; no problem with service and atmosphere.
