I ate here last night. Great looking place, good food, excellent service.

I was dissappointed because I had a 50% off voucher but was not able to use it because it was "Happy Hour". I checked the conditions of the voucher, which state "50% off a la carte menu" and even though we were there during happy hour, those were the hours aslso specified on the voucher! I received less than 20% off the final price (not inc. drinks as I knew) and left feeling dissappointed as I only went there specifically to take advantage of a cheap meal!

Also, I wouldnt order the Surf & Turf again - its not worth it! You only get ONE prawn for your extra 2.50!!

I believe this restaurant should changes its terms, or specify them on the on-line voucher.

A group of 10 went to the Road house Sat 10 feb for Hen night.we booked table and had the cocktail+2 courses for £18.95.

Worth it and great to line our stomachs and stay in one place to party till 3am.

We were dubious about a band coming on but it was the BEST part of the night- at one point we forgot it was a band they were wicked!! I think its a safe and greta way for girls to do a hen night in covent gardens.

we had watched dirty dancing in the afternoon which was fantastic so the Road house completed a fab weekend!!!

Eight of us went to the Roadhouse on New Years Eve. We paid £40 per ticket and a 3 coarse meal was included, so that’s not bad for new years in London. Our group was a mixture of Londoners, Portsmouth peoples, and Americans. The Americans are used to great service; they didn’t get it at the Roadhouse. Although the food was good, we all ate at different times. When we asked where the 3 meals that were missing were, the guy apologised and told us that the fella co-ordinating the meal delivery was a bit drunk! We did get a bottle of Champaign for our troubles, even though those troubles continued throughout the food service. The waitress was quick to take the drinks orders but then we had to wait 30mins for the drinks to arrive, longer at one point. The frustrating thing was that were 2 bars and the entire bar staff were just leaning on the bars all the time we waited for our drinks. The bar staff were also practicing there cocktail skills, throwing bottles and cocktail shakers into the air, they weren’t very good at the either. This was proved when one girl launched her shaker across the bar and it landed on our table….. just serve the drinks lady! The drinks were expensive, my girlfriend and I spent about £130 on drinks, and we are not massive drinkers! We had a kitty between the eight of us, so a great amount was spent. (Plus the initial ticket layout).

All this said we had a great night. There was a live band playing who were really good and kept the party atmosphere going to the early hours. The clientele were the right mix, with no trouble. And the infamous security staff/bouncers just faded into the background.

Would I return, yeah I think I would…give it ago!

I have been to the Road House and have enjoyed it's cheesy and house music. However, no night is ever the same, and this is due to the bouncers that are hired at the bar. I have heard of stories about the bouncers attitude like most places, however, I now believe them as I was confronted & assaulted by one and will never return there again! A unprovoked attack by a bouncer who was out to be aggressive and start on anything. If that is what it hires then I will be staying well clear...

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

God this place is bad!!!!!

The place is dirty, the food and drink is over priced, the portions are small, very greasy. When we complained the manager was very rude, his response was, (this is no lie) 'Yeah what do you expect me to do about it'

If this place was in a small village then i suppose you have no other option if you want a night out, but this place is in the middle of london, there are hundreds of better places to go.

We went here for a hen party. It was lovely at first as you were waited on hand and foot. The food came quickly but it took about 20 minutes for drinks to come whenever we ordered. I thought the food looked cheap but you didn't get much food on the plate, I had a hotdog which cost £6 and you had to order chips seperately, you got about 10 chips for £2. No sauce was available except ketchup. After a while though the manager came and told us we would have to move as another booking was coming. We told them that we would only go if we could have some free champagne. They said they would probably be able to do that but then it wasn't mentioned again and we didn't have to move. When it got later we were told that the table was going to be packed away to make room for the dance floor. It got very busy but was air conditioned so it wasn't hot. Some people in the party thought it was too cold. The atmosphere in the place was great though. In all, this place was ok but I wouldn't go again.

This place is awesome, I cannot remember the last time I had so much fun. Dont think I've been to a place that ticks nearly every box. Everything about the Roadhouse rocks.. I suggest to all you out there to try it, I know you'll love it.

The place is cool and if you want to stop off for a drink - great, good cocktails. However, the service is appaling. We waited at least 20 minutes before order taken, although it came reasonably quickly. The waitress we had was very busy but we didnt get offered desert or anything so we had to ask someone else for the bill and go as we had already been there 2 hours and thought if we wait for a desert be there till midnight!. So unless you have hours of time and dont mind being left for ages I wouldn't bother!

I went here for a Hen Night and didn't think much of the place. They rushed our food so they could get rid of the tables and make space for the night clubbers.

There were three other hen parties there when we went. The place was overcrowded and the bouncers WERE moody. However, they were quite happy to let people dry-hump on the sofas and against the wall all night! Avoid this one like the plague!

We had a fantastic time there, the food was great, the atmosphere was great and all the staff were really welcoming & accommodating. Would definately go back there again.
