I attended the restaurant on the recommendation of my brother, as it is local.

On arrival, the restaurant was empty but we were told that the party would start later. We reviewed the menu though not extension covered the sought of food that you would eat for a social night out not a romantic dinner.

We had to catch the waiting staff's attention to place our order, which then took a very long time to arrive even though there was no one else in the restaurant.

Once the food arrived, it was well worth the wait. The portion size was larger than expected. The food tasted well cooked and it was also well presented.

Again, the attention of the waiting staff had to be caught and they did not have one of the two desserts on the menu.

Overall, the service was good when it arrived but it was very slow in coming.

Bar Equal is really good there is alot of lovely food and it is a hip place to be i have alrealled told others about and i give everything 10 out of 10

very happening place. couldn't quite believe i was in honor oak park and not in soho! and don't make the mistake of thinking this place is just a bar, the food here is unbelievable!!! also make sure u pop down on a wednesday, 2 for 1 on champagne!
