Ate here on a Sunday night on a recent trip and it was wonderful. I don't know what it would be like when it's crowded, but on a quiet night it was perfectly delightful. I'm in love with the wait staff.

The food was wonderful--perfectly cooked salmon and nice creamy risotto. I had just gotten off the plane that morning, and this place put me in a perfect London mood.

A starter of delicious sardines, followed by perfectly cooked roast cod and if you want something straightforward like a burger... well it's hard to beat theirs. Even the chunky fries are simply excellent.

Perfectly sized portions, attentive and friendly service and a chilled out atmosphere with a view to the groovy open kitchen.

This place simply gets it right, and it feels like that from the moment you walk in. You get a sense that not only do they care, but the crew are enthusiastic and eager for you to enjoy. Little notices around the place remind you things like 'don't miss the sticky toffee pudding'. Take note and don't! Its great too!

Been going to Lots Road pub and dining room off and on for 4 years now, celebrating everything from Christmas, birthdays to Mother's Day. Food is very good, although on occasion it has been served a little on the cool side but they will always replace it if asked. The atmosphere is what you'd expect - don't go on football days, it's manic, loud and smokey but on an average is fine. It's probably more a winter boozer than a summer hot spot though.

We have been coming since the place was converted from an old Firkin pub 5 or 6 years ago. The food and drink are not cheap but I have never failed to enjoy every visit. The place can get crowded at the weekend but the staff always try to make your visit one to enjoy and will go out of thier way to help.

Love it Love it Love it!!!

Have been coming to Lots Road for over 1 year since moving to the area and are yet to be disappointed! What is not to love? Great food, spot on atmosphere and the friendliest serice we've experienced anywhere in London (we're from the states so not the easiest to please!) Above all ..subtle changes keep this place fresh and ahead of the rest..these guys really know what they're doing..long may it continue!!

Having heard great things about this gastropub, we decided to take the family there for Mothering Sunday and were not disappointed. Although the staff were under pressure on such a busy day they were charming and attentive. Food was thoroughly enjoyable and reasonably priced, especially for the area. My wife was won over by the hand made chocolate given to her as a mothers day gift. Very impressed!

Thoroughly disappointing! Starters arrived in good time and were quite pleasant. Was informed by the waiter that the chef wasn't willing to take my whole seabass "off the bone" - therefore "do I still want it"! Main meal took 45 minutes to arrive, oh yes and I think I saw it sitting on the bar when I went to visit to rather unpleasant facilities. Low ceilings at the rear meant the noise level was quite unbearable. The whole experience almost reduced me to tears and cost me in excess of £25 per head for a starter, main and 2 glasses of wine.

Not in the most accessible of locations, therefore, one was expecting something a little more special!

Lots Road Pub has been a regular haunt of mine over the last couple of years and it has always lived up to the expectations it set the first time I visited there two years ago. So much so that I now organise our "friends and more friends" x-mas party at LRP (as it is affectionately known) every year. Fantastic venue, great good and friendly service- can't really ask for more. The best gastro in London by far!
